So it’s been a while and my life’s been topsy-turvey. I wasn’t happy in my relationship and I tried to work on me but everything was frustrating and painful. I ended up packing everything I could into my car and driving 5 days across the entire country to live with family. Now it’s time to do the deep work, the shadow work, the soul searching, and self love I’ve been putting of and wanting to have for years. The pain in me is reaching out and trying to fill the hole with distractions in other people. But at the end of the day the only person I really badly want a relationship with is me. Slowly I’m starting to realize it.

Drawing dragon eyes is my go-to fail-safe. Whenever I want to draw but don’t know what or keep getting frustrated, this is what I do. What’s your go-to when you’re stuck?

A little tattered but still beautiful in my opinion are these upper wings from a painted lady butterfly.

Everything I do is cruelty free. Most often I source my butterflies from roadsides or gardens. 💙🦋
