Encounter #6
Paimon watched him in a rather casual fashion. Interesting.
"My reputation is rather accurate as to who I am, I can proudly say. I take great care in it." He started before tapping out the cigarette he had been enjoying aesthetically for the past few minutes. "I am always described as cold, beautiful, loyal, loud, and very knowledgeable."
There was only a short pause where Paimon looked over the other in a gesture of wanting to have him measured. It was only polite to have a balanced conversation. “And what would yours say of you that you disagree with?”
He could agree with that. Well, from what he'd seen anyway. Paimon certainly appeared to hold himself in a way which suggested he knew a lot more than he was letting on and there was obviously no denying his looks or attitude. But then, Julian hadn't really known him long enough to be certain of any of that just yet.
A balanced conversation, however, was not something he had truly desired. Especially not on this topic.
"Ah. It's not-nothing really. More of a species stereotype th-than anything else." He stammered, desperately trying to find a way to change the subject. In failing to do so, he resigned himself and sighed. "I guess mine would be more of a power thing. I'm expected to be something to fear, an unstoppable power, the stuff of legends. But I'm not. I'm clumsy and I'm fidgety and I'm not at all scary. But I can see why your reputation suits you."
