The pyromancer had been in a conversation with one of the masters, attempting to get some time out of the Undercroft when a very familiar voice spoke behind him. Merek turned slightly to look at Sang-ho, the slave's lips pressed together for a brief second. He'd known the other man for quite awhile and, for some reason, it often seemed like his former colleague wasn't very fond of him. Something that drove the pyromancer a little crazy since he was never entirely sure how to respond to someone he couldn't charm. "Sang-ho. Lovely to see you again." He greeted after a second, clearing his throat. Merek didn't see much point in being overly professional now, not when there was such a change in the power dynamic between them. "You're not the first to say that, actually. I still haven't decided how offended I should be."
"You take your time in figuring it out, Mr. Hopper. You'll get there eventually. Or not at all," Sang-ho said, not even bothering to hide the condescension in his tone despite the polite smile on his face. "Either way it doesn't bother me."
