"Work here, right?" Miles asked rhetorically. The collar was different and the guys uniform was a dead give away unless that was a new thing they'd be wearing in the undercroft add to that the big ass cart he was pushing and he could gather the other's purpose. He glanced over his shoulder making sure the coast was clear knowing he was actively being hunted or soon would be. The guy was looking at him strangely. He looked down at his blood soaked shirt. "This?" He waved a hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. Guessing you're housekeeping. So what I need you to do is grab me a shirt. Mine's a mess. There's a Henri Eau Claire or something or other." He looked at the other expectantly. "Well check your little map phone thing or whatever and confirm what the fuck I'm talking about." He glanced over his shoulder again. "Hurry up Sling Blade, don't have all fucking day here." He clapped his hands to get him moving. He currently didn't have a collar on because someone thought they could handle him. Guess he wasn't there because anyone knew who he was or Proulx was living up to his reputation.
Miles was trying to go through the series of events that got him where he was now the adrenaline was wearing off the threat of a lot of different shit was currently off the table. His mind was sluggish. More so than it should be. "Shit." He grit out when he realized just how loud his ears were ringing. He could feel his glamour slipping while the sides of his vision faded to black. "Fucking arachnids." His words slurred, hands reaching blindly out to grab anything to keep him from the ground he was heading for. May have forgotten Proulx upgraded to part demon and of course he'd pick a big fucking spider.
