The two of them really were the same. Panicking, hungry for a reason for everything to be their fault, willing to take on the suffering of everyone around them just to be worthy of something. Never before had he felt more completely akin to his brother than now.

"Lucifer. Please."

His hands, still warm and still steady, gripped those of his brother with firm and loving care. "Emily took a risk to save a friend of Charlie's, and the injury was Vox's fault for failing to operate his warmachine with a proper handfull of brain cells."

Well, that second part sounded more vitriolic than Yeshua usually spoke with. But, personal grudges also ran in the family.
