He had thought somehow he could get away with not getting marked, that maybe he’d remain off of the radar and he could slip by. But of course he had to get his ass arrested and it immediately showed up he never got marked.Before he was allowed to leave after the charges were dropped he had been given his mark and every second it was on him he hated it. He sat on a curb outside of the pool hall sipping a beer and having a smoke, trying to ignore the itchiness of the fresh tattoo under his shirt.

sidney wasn’t gonna lie, as he got to lay there, watching the other get changed a smirk grew onto his lips, he was really pleased with his view… if anything he was the one who was distracting.. biting the inside of his cheek awaiting him to return to the bed, but instead he watched him get his phone, before excusing himself as he walked out the door, and disappeared for a few moment, leaving him alone with his thoughts.. where things were finally kinda settling, the whole idea about sexuality was still weird but with fallon, he felt a lot more okay with it.. the two was an odd pair to begin with, like even if he’d been out, no way at no point could he’v imagined coming across, and connecting with someone like him.. just by looking at where he lived, and the place he surrounded himself, sid couldn’t have been more opposite.. then when a few moments had passed, the other finally returned, announcing that he had the food and the drinks, while getting the remove to fix something on the tv, putting on the movie before finally returning to the bed with him. sid then turned around so that he laid on his stomach, taking one quick glance at the tv screen before looking back at fallon, watching him as he spoke.. “something about me–? uhm, well my dad’s a priest, so im in church– a lot.. i was home schooled my entire life cause apparently the public schools here aren’t conveying gods message, or something.. and i love movies.. and scented candles.. oh and i paint.. im not good or anything but– i still try..”

“Oh wow” Fallon smirked as he explained that his dad had been a pastor and it honestly weirdly made a lot of sense for him. He wasn’t really sure how to respond to something like that at first, it was basically the complete opposite as how he was brought up and that hit him a lot harder than he thought it would. “Well i’ve never understood religion” he scoffed, not really caring that his reaction could have came off as offensive. Fallon grabbed a slice of pizza and took a bite, wondering if Sid was going to ask him about his family, and what he would say about it.

emmett rolled his eyes at the man’s response. he wasn’t worried about the paperwork because he knew what he signed up for but he was just trying to figure out why he wouldn’t willingly go with him. he assumed it was because he was guilty. 

Fallon cursed a few times under his breath as they drove to the police station, he was still running through every possible thing in his head hoping that he’d remembered to place pink slips back under the floorboards beneath the living room rug. Before he knew it there were inside the station and he was sat down cuffed to the desk waiting for any questions as they processed him. “So, you going to say what the hell i’m doing here yet?”

blaine was sure the man was hitting on him and he wasn’t against it. “anything is an appropriate thank you.” he replied as he walked back in with the rum and an icepack. he handed both things over, “i think you’re a little beat up to be doing what i have in mind.”

Fallon accepted the items, taking a sip of the rum and then resting the ice pack on one of his hands. He lifted an eyebrow to the boy and smiled back at him “I think you wildly underestimate me, this is nothing” it wasn’t a complete lie, he’d probably been in worse shape, but he wasn’t going to let that stop him.

a lot of thoughts started running through sidney’s mind as he listened to everything fallon said, from saying they’d watch some of the harry potter movies, but making it rather clear that he kinda did have other things in mind— all cause of him.. and how fallon found him distracting.. something that made him feel all kinds of things.. “guess we’ll just see how long you’re able to make it..” he smiled, while glancing over at him. it was still crazy really, as he wasn’t even sure in what world the two would’ve interacted had it not been for him moving next door to him.. the answer probably was never, but now that it had happened, he really couldn’t explain how happy he was… that he’d gotten to experience all the things he had, with him.. even if they weren’t soulmates…. at least it was open to be a thing for a little bit until either of their soulmates showed up.. or so he though at least. a few more moments passed, and the grip the other had on him loosened until she felt him leave his side completely, turning his head to see him get off the bed, and walk over to a dresser, leaving him on the bed alone again..

Fallon quickly changed into a pair of sweatpants and a different v-neck shirt and was just about to climb back into bed when he got a text. He grabbed his phone and read a text from Joe downstairs, letting him know that the pizza was there and how much he owed him for it. “I’ll be back in a minute” he called over his shoulder before walking downstairs for the food. He came back up with the pizza and opened the fridge and grabbed two beers before going back into his room. “Alright, we’ve got food and drinks now” he smiled as he sat down on his bed and grabbed the remote ordering the first Harry Potter movie and putting it on. He didn’t have the volume very high so he turned to Sidney to talk to him “so why don’t you tell me something about yourself”.

emmett nodded, pursing his lips as the man spoke. “so, i’m taking that as a no.” he replied and closed the door behind him. he went to lock up the station, a laughing leaving his lips as he did so and then climbed in the driver’s seat. “you could’ve gone willingly but you had to make more paperwork for me, didn’t you?”

Fallon didn’t respond, just looked out the window with an angry look on his face as he heard him speak again. “Oh boo fucking whoo, paperwork isn’t going to fucking kill you” he had zero sympathy for the guy that had just handcuffed him and was now taking him to the police station.

blaine cleaned up his own mess and then stood up, nodding toward the living room and leading him out of the bathroom. “i’ll get you a drink and some ice.” he announced and paused, looking over at him with a smile on his face. “hm, well what do you have in mind?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Fallon followed him out of the bathroom and making his way to the couch, sitting down and leaning his head on the back of the couch looking over at him. “Whatever you think is an appropriate thank you, anything” he lightly bit down on his bottom lip as he looked at him.

“nurse blaine,” he repeated and let out a laugh. “i get it’s not that bad.” he added. blaine was glad he decided to help fallon because so far, he seemed cool. he moved his attention back to the stab wound and bandaged it up. “i think i have some rum or something in my cabinet.”

“Thank god, because I need it” he leaned back a bit as Blaine bandaged him up, finally hoping that they would be done playing hospital soon. “So, how am I going to repay you for helping me out?” he couldn't stop the mischievous grin that spread across his face as he asked.

the words that came out of fallon’s mouth was something emmett had heard multiple times when arresting people. no one was happy to be arrested but cursing at him wasn’t going to help anything. “you kiss your mother with that mouth?”  he asked and  opened up his car and put fallon in the back of it.

Fallon felt himself even more enraged at the mention of his mother, he hadn’t spoken to her since he was sixteen, and had no desire to. “My mother is a homophobic cunt” he snapped back at him as he got shoved into the back of the police car, his head was spinning.

blaine could only imagine how uncomfortable it was to clean all of his wounds but in all seriousness, he took it pretty well. “maybe more than a couple good hits. i’m gonna get you some ice for your hands when i’m done with this.”

“Thanks, nurse Blaine” he chuckled as he brought his hands back to his lap. He had already gotten a lot more comfortable around this guy who had just been a stranger to him an hour ago. “Do you have anything to drink? preferably strong?”.

emmett caught the keys in his hand as they were tossed his way and placed them on the counter, “i’ll be sure to do that.” he replied, trying his hardest not to roll his eyes. he clenched his jaw for a moment as fallon spoke once more and grabbed his arm, turning him around and placing the handcuffs on him as he recited the miranda rights to him. “you’re not as tough now, are you?” he asked and grabbed the keys to lock up. he could at least do that much.

Fallon hated that he could easily get what he wanted from him, but he wasn’t going to punch the cop for arresting him, that wouldn’t help anything in this situation. “Fuck you” he spat out as he got led out the door of the gas station. At this point he was going through a mental checklist, thankful that their latest steal had just been sold a few nights ago so there wasn’t anything at his place.

blaine wasn’t surprised to hear that he didn’t enjoy it but he was sure it was a lot better than the hospital. he nodded and grabbed an alcohol wipe for the man’s face before beginning to clean it up. “i do hope you got a few good hits in.”

Fallon flinched a few times as the alcohol hit his cuts but nothing compared to the cut on his side, this felt like a piece of cake. “Of course I did” he sounded offended as he held up his hands to show his already bruised and bloody knuckles.

Presley knew there wasn’t going to be any stopping him, he didn’t really listen to anyone and when his anger was raging there wasn’t any chance on talking him down and now he just saw red when he thought about the people who caused all of this. “Fal, I’m not going to let you take all the damn hits, it’s what friends are for and no one messes with you.” He demanded. “If I’m going to have to play Dr, Presley then tell me now or I’m taking you to the hospital… is it still bleeding?” Presley tried to look over but was driving too fast, the last thing he needed was to crash and have both of them at a loss. 

Fallon gave up arguing with him “yeah, whatever” he replied, knowing Presley would take that as a win between them. He lifted up his shirt and wiped his hand over his cut flinching “yeah, it’s still bleeding” he sounded defeated, he hadn’t gone there to get stabbed, he just wanted a good old fashion fist fight to get some of his negative energy out. “I’m not going to the fucking hospital, you know how I feel about doctors, plus that’ll just get the cops involved”.

emmett wasn’t really all that surprised by his response but he was hoping that he would make it easy on him. he had a couple of for sure things on him, he thought, so he had every right to make an arrest. “as you wish.” he moved toward him,  “i hope there’s someone else here that can do your job because you’re coming with me.” he added and pulled his handcuffs out.

Fallon rolled his eyes, he didn’t think that he actually had anything on him, but the handcuffs in his hands held a different story. He leaned over to flick a switch to turn the pumps off and grabbed his keys tossing them at the officer “lock up on your way out” he spat at him “well, going to cuff me, tough guy?’.

blaine knew he wasn’t good but he decided against arguing with him and instead, sped up so that he was out of pain. “alright. it’s done. i just have to wrap you up and you should be alright.” he announced and glanced at his face. “i can clean those cuts up to, if you want.”

“Thank god” he tried to chuckle but it definitely was more tender now. “I mean, you may as well” he shrugged, the guy already had the supplies it wouldn’t really make for any extra work to just clean up his face, which he was sure had some kind of dirt on it too.

emmett’s eyes watched the man and he wondered if this guy was going to make it easy on him or not - so far, he assumed his answer was no but he wasn’t completely sure yet. “i was hoping we could discuss them at the station.” he spoke up, his eyes never leaving fallon.

Fallon narrowed his eyes at the cop, there was no way he was going to willingly go to the station with him, he wasn’t an idiot, they’d have to arrest him for that, and he was sure they couldn’t actually have anything on him. “You’re not getting me out of here unless it’s in handcuffs” he tone was cocky as he glared back at him across the counter.

“If I say I will stay out of it would you ever believe me?” He asked with an obvious scoff and climbing into the truck and starting it up. “I don’t even see why you waste your time trying not to get me to do something, you know I’m only going to do it anyway. Besides, this Sidney kid deserves to at least get scared. Look at what is going on with you now! I’ll be going after Slash too, you better fucking believe that.” All this time, Presley was starting the old truck and driving quickly home. He mostly just had the idea that he had to fix Fallon. “You don’t need stitches do you?” Not that Presley couldn’t do it himself, it wouldn’t be the first time the boys tried to save on a hospital bill. 

“No” Fallon muttered as he closed his eyes, he didn’t want to argue with Presley, but he also didn’t want him to go get himself hurt for no reason “Just leave it alone Pres, I can handle my own shit”. It wasn’t necessarily true, ever since he met Presley he’d been sticking up for him, honestly he was a very shy kid when they met, he owed a lot to his best friend. “I don’t know, maybe?” he wouldn’t be the first time he needed stitches, and it definitely wouldn’t be the last time either.
