Fallon laughed softly as she shook her head, “Are you always this charming to girls you meet around the castle?” She teased before smiling softly.

Audence wasn’t surprised or freaked out in the slightest that this girl was talking to herself. at the mention of his home country, logan could feel his own face light up. he nodded along when she talked about how beautiful it was, feeling a sense of pride like he controlled the seasons in his own country. “ as the future leader of my country, i have to say that it is beautiful year around. but yes, winter is some of the best times. “ he nodded, almost to himself, as he played with the edges of the book before looking back at her. “ is it hard to speak your language ?? gaelic, i mean. i’ve only heard it a couple times, but the spelling is insane. “

she laughed softly as she watched the boy take pride in his home country. she found it amazing to see another person take pride in their homeland. fallon nodded her head, “i just love snow so that might cloud my opinion a little.” fallon hummed before biting her bottom lip as she thought, “to me, not really. it is a part of me, it is as easy to speak as english for me. for outsiders, it would be extremely hard.”

his eyes followed the color on her cheeks for a moment before he turned more towards her, folding his arms across his chest as he spoke to her. “ therefore you want to learn every language you possible can ?? i can’t imagine having that many languages in my head. luckily for me, the only country i need to really speak with is the united states. and mexico at times, but i know a bit of spanish - not enough to be fluent, but a bit. “ he only smiled more when he guessed her position right, “ prince of canada. “

she shrugged before smiling as she put her book down, giving logan her undivided attention, “i already know french, swedish, finnish and gaelic/irish so I think that should do for now but polish would help me navigate around the locals here.” fallon hummed before nodding her head as she listened to the man, “i absolutely adore canada. it’s so beautiful especially in winter.”

logan didn’t even glance at the person sitting at the table until she spoke, smiling almost nervously at the girl who sat there. it was like he didn’t expect it to be a girl, maybe he didn’t. “ polish ?? i didn’t even think about trying to learn that. i’m not very good with other languages. well except french, but a lot of canadian children learn french. “ realizing he was babbling on he took the book while his smile grew slightly, “ i’m logan. “

logan shifted slightly in his seat, looking around the library. he had only been at the new castle for a couple hours at this point. castles in europe weren’t like the castle back at home or in the united states. he felt out of place and uncomfortable - to say the least. looking over at the table next to him, he saw a book about the history of poland sitting there untouched. “ i’m sorry to bother, but are you reading that ?? “ it wouldn’t hurt to actually learn about the country he was in.

fallon looked up from her book before shaking her head as she passed the book to the brunette, smiling softly, “learning about poland? don’t worry i’m trying to learn polish.”

“It’s good to know I’m not the only one who feels like that. I don’t understand a thing they’re saying so I just smile and nod when people talk to me” Runa said and a soft laugh escaped her lips. “ I guess I should’ve listened to my father when he told me to take polish lessons”

Fallon laughed as she nodded in agreement, “I feel like I’ll be taking Polish classes while I am staying here.”
