i like to draw, too ! [closed&kise]
As much as Yayoi hated being prideful in her art, she  could definitely tell she was better than this girl. Not even by a small amount, a quite significant margin. She was better than Asuka, though, so that was a plus. âOh no, this isnât that great! I donât really draw this kind of stuff often, and I-Iâm not that pretty!â she blushed and rubbed her cheek, greatly embarrassed by her compliments. âYouâre picture is good too! How long have you been drawing? I mean, you canât have been doing this very long, right?ââ
Yayoi could feel her palms begining to sweat, fearing that sheâd greatly insulted the girl. Was she like Asuka, and wasnât aware howâŚrather poor her art was? She wouldnât cry like Yayoi would when people told her her art was badâŚright? She decided her best option was to backtrack to her art. âIâm not really  happy with this picture, though. I feel like a lot of people will call me kind of arrogant for drawing myself in such a, erm, pretty way? Iâm not exactly an idol, after all.â she laughed, trying to put the picture back into her bag.
It didn't surprise her.
Kise's art is amazing in Mary's eyes. It's only natural, Mary's own skill is much lower on the scale, only recently moving along to the more practical art mediums, not just crayons which she was so used to using. Her mind is at a crossroad-- one side felt a little hurt. It felt a bit like she was being belittled because of how poor her artwork seems compared to Kise's. On the other hand, look at her.
Kise, the girl whom, when she first spoke to her, was stuttering quite a bit. Her comfort must have hit a nice level.
"I-I never really used these kinds of drawing things before. I used to draw with crayons! I never touched a pencil before."
It felt silly to admit. With pencils as a medium, her doodles looked far more juvenile than she'd be willing to admit. It's best to stick to crayons.Â
"I don't get it, though. You look pretty in the picture, and the picture is pretty!! Why don't you like it? It looks good!"
Let's minus the fact that Mary doesn't know what 'arrogant' means.
