how do you even work a turban [ open ]
“I got it!!!”
Mary didn’t let the switch effect her for very long. It was a surprise seeing a familiar face on the mirror this morning— a face not even hers at that, but that didn’t matter very much now. Everyone must’ve still been freaking out, but Mary saw this as a little fun event. See what it’s like living in the other girl’s shoes for a day or more.
She wasn’t used to the rigidness in the girl’s muscles, making rapid movements a bit of a pain, however, Mary managed to catch Tapioca in her arms, herself having slid on her knees to catch the big guy.
“Whew. You’re fast, aren’t you?”
She gave a curt smile, slow to stand, turning towards the stranger. Hopefully the duck won’t fly off before she handed him back.
“Here you go, mister!”
A reassuring sigh left the males lips, that may have been a bit more exaggerating due to Karen's current appearance. Seeing that the duck was at least kept safe was one of her top priorities, since it seemed to be the best friend of the original owner of the body she was occupying. Which was strange all on its own, but she wouldn't complain.
Approaching the girl who had captured the duck in her arms, she brought up her arms in order to take the duck back. Which had brought Tapioca into a more calming state, being once again in familiar arms.
"Sorry about that, he just ran off for some reason!"
"But thanks."
With that childish tone along with the laugh that came shortly after it, the fe... male had brought up a hand and simply waved it off, "Ah, no need to call me by that. It makes me feel old!!"
Older than she apparently thought, we may as well add.
