what animal form does your familiar take?: Bora is a yellow-bellied sea snake and most definitely poisonous. It feels a bit strange being a sea snake so far away from the water, but she makes do. She is originally from Jeju Island, so it makes sense to her. Her snake form is only about a foot long, shorter than the average yellow-bellied sea snake. Because of her form, she is usually not allowed outside with it, as it would attract attention (unless her job is to provide a distraction, of course). When she is outside, it is usually acting as someone’s necklace, or sleeping in a carrier of some sort, or a purse. Of course, anyone who sees her gives her companion a wide berth, which is usually just what they want.
Bora’s personality is very snake-like. She is opportunistic, ambitious, self-preserving, and more than willing to roll down in the dirt. She can only be trusted by a select few people. Her interests always come first as does her survival.
how does your familiar feel about the bond?: Bora comes from a very traditional family, so she always saw the bond as inevitable. Of course, once she reached a certain age and her life went down the drain, she started to see beyond just tradition and honor. She saw the possibility of power. If she can get her witch to be powerful, to train, to study, then she can be powerful through them. She would defend her witch within an inch of her life. After all, she only gets one and then the opportunity is gone. Her witch is one of the few people she could find herself putting before her self. She would never want to weaken their bond in any way.

what animal form does your familiar take?: hedgehog. he doesn’t have much of an opinion. sure he turns into a cute animal. a bit prickly. it matches him. eunsung just doesn’t find it particularly helpful or useful in any way. in public, he can fit in any of those animal cafes, honestly yes, he can play docile and in the palm of your hand, but he genuinely doesn’t know what more there is to him beyond being a hedgehog. that being said, he thinks it’s rather funny that he cannot be particularly useful as an animal form. it’s not as if he’s staking out anything like a hunter dog, or a bird, being able to take flight.
how does your familiar feel about the bond?: eunsung does not enjoy the bond, and does not understand why he is there essentially to enhance the warlock or witch’s magic. maybe there will be some magical thing that he feels internally when the bond actually happens, but he is not particularly keen. eunsung doesn’t seem to seek out their witch, despite being able to sense them. if it will happen, it will happen. even then, he isn’t excited in any way.

what is your witch’s favorite aspect of witchcraft?: Being able to control things, change things, effect people’s lives for better or worse. Yejin did not have a very nice childhood. She often felt very powerless. Now, as a grown woman, she can make someone’s greatest desire come to them with a potion or end their career with a spell. Yejin has made a career out of this, running a referral-only business selling illicit potions (under the guise of a consultancy firm). She saves her most powerful spells for only the highest paying clients. It’s done well enough that Yejin can now afford a flat in one of the higher end neighborhoods of Seoul, though her neighbors seem none too pleased with the shady characters that began lurking around after she moved in.
what is your witch’s least favorite aspect of witchcraft?: The entire concept of familiars. She can get away with selling a weaker spell or potion every once in a while, what could the buyer do? Report her for business fraud? They’d get laughed out of any police station. However, Yejin is irked by the idea that her full potential is locked away until happen stance brings some ruddy animal her way. Yejin has only had herself to rely on her whole life. She doesn’t like the idea of being beholden to anyone or anything. It limits her and Yejin long ago promised herself that she’d never let herself be limited by anything. Not her circumstances, not the law and certainly not any familiar.

what is your witch’s favorite aspect of witchcraft?: music has always been a calming aspect in xuyi’s life. her favourite aspect of witchcraft is being able to make others happy by playing her music. whenever someone around her is sad or upset, she is able to manipulate the sounds around her to play a happier upbeat song/tune or if she is close with them, she would be able to play their favourite.
what is your witch’s least favorite aspect of witchcraft?: almost everything in the world may have something good to it, however there will always be something bad that lingers with it. whenever she hears the words “black magic,” chills will go down her spine. to xuyi, she dislikes how there is a possibility that certain witches would use black magic to hurt others in order to gain something for themselves.
If we did not initially apply with two characters but have been here since opening, would we be allowed to apply with two more now?
applying straight away with two muses allows us to see if a mun can handle multiple muses before picking up a third. i would say we still need to see how a mun can handle two muses before allowing three, so if a mun already has a character they will still have to wait a week in between picking up another.
just as a clarification, if you’re sending in a reservation and want a specific pair you can only reserve spots in pairs that are open to apply. if a pair is open to plotting there’s no need to reserve as they can only be closed if both muns agree to close them, and no one else can take the spot from you.

i actually really see her as a witch !! i don’t know why, but she just gives me that vibe. as for a familiar form, i think a siberian hamster would suit her, or a pug would be cute.

Out of curiosity, what types of events are the mods planning?
we haven’t discussed yet, but most likely events like a winter solstice party, an astrological event that would cause bonds to temporarily (for a week) go wonky and pair random familiars to random witches (the admins would take care of this randomization), a rogue witch hunter causing unrest for a short period of time, things like that !!
