❝ One of my favorite things that would happen from time to time on set would be when Carrie would sing old songs. Whenever that would happen I would offer her my hand and we would waltz around the set – on a starship, in a Rebel base, on an alien planet, and she would sing and we would dance. So surreal and beautiful to think about now. For all of her delicious, wicked humor and fiery energy she also had such sweet grace. I miss her dearly. ❞ - Oscar Isaac
Cap, about Stark, I should have told you long ago that- No, keep your secrets, Iron Man! You lead, I’ll follow. That’s enough!
The cast was so nice. I was quite star struck by all three of them. Bradley, Richard – I was star struck by Janel, all of them… You’ve seen the episode, it was an interesting time in my life. I don’t know what I was thinking with the haircut… Oh my goodness I think I was going through Jim Morrison – but it was kind of more like David Cassidy. I don’t know what was happening. We would rehearse, and Bradley, or Richard, or Janel would be like, “Can you guys make a note that we have to ask Aaron about this?” And they would write it down, and eventually there would be a call and everybody would circle around, and it would be Aaron on the phone giving notes to everybody. I think he even listened to us run through it once or twice so he could hear what was happening dialogue-wise. That really struck me too; the command that everybody had of the language. That was hypnotic. These people had been doing these roles for years, it’s that thing where it’s in their bones and in their muscles… That show is so good in so many ways, but the way that they played those parts, it was so effortless, and so natural. You get addicted to listening to them speak it. I remember that being such a treat, just listening to them do the scenes. Then when it became my turn to speak it was like, “I wish I didn’t have to interrupt this.” I was kind of blissfully ignorant at the time about being part of what is an absolute legacy. The West Wing is going to always be one of those shows to point to and say, “Look at this incredible thing that happened at this moment in history.” – John Gallagher, Jr.
It’s heist time!
