UPDATE + thoughts on the discontinuation of lego friends: girls on a mission
wow, i haven’t been online in a while and it’s almost been years since the last lego friends: girls on a mission episode was posted.
the ending was extremely bitter, like what happened next? they just went ahead and rebooted it AGAIN. i can’t lie, i love lego friends and all of its individual reboots but it’s just recurring, most of the reboots don’t even need a reboot because it’s already super good! lego doesn’t see the potential like we do.
to be honest, i think the reason is because lego friends doesn’t get as much recognition as it used to have. i mean, children still used to recognize lego friends and would even buy the toy associated with it which boosted Lego sales therefore they would advertise these toys more by posting more episodes but with the upgrowth of technology, children are less attentive now with kids’ shows and toys.
i wish they didn’t discontinue lego friends: girls on a mission though, they were really going somewhere with this series and the plot was getting good. sad to see it end this way.
