Still Human, from the Remember Me OST. 

While the gameplay of this game remains unfortunately unremarkable, I can at least give credit where credit is due. The art direction, world design, and soundtrack of this game were absolutely stunning. In my opinion, this had one of the most unique vibes I’ve ever experienced in a game. I really wish the gameplay was a bit better, because the game went right under the radar after its release (even with their amazing marketing prior the release). 

That being said, listen to this piece from the soundtrack. It’s absolutely incredible, and more that worth a listen.

(For those interested, the game is currently on sale on Steam for 5.99, which is more than worth it if you ask me)

Not a videogame, but holy moly this anime is AMAZING. Everyone should go check out Death Parade when they get a chance. WARNING: It really isn't for the feint of heart. It's really dark and messed up. But absolutey amazing.

This game came out back in 1996 and somehow ended up in the home of almost everyone I know. It's funny. None of my friends or myself know how we've come to own a copy or why. But it was amazing. I highly recommend you play this retro acid trip. Even if you're not into point and click, the entire thing is claymation and the art direction is great.

The Tavern Song: Enchanter, from Dragon Age Inquisition.

I haven't even gotten a chance to touch my copy yet, but I find myself listening to this track over and over again. It's one of many amazing tavern songs that the game has to offer.

Uhm. Wow. How have I not posted this yet? It's iconic! Still Alive, from Portal. 

If you haven't heard of Portal then wow, go fix that. Another one of my top ten favorites.

While not exactly a videogame soundtrack, I just saw the third Hobbit movie today and was reminded of this amazing piece. It's from the second one, but wow it's so well composed and great. In terms of set design alone, I think Laketown one easily one of my favorite places in Middle Earth we've seen in the trilogy... I mean... I wouldn't wanna live there, oh man that place is awful and probably full of disease and famine... but dang it looked cool. Anywho, enjoy!

King Conga's theme, from Crypt of the NecroDancer

THIS GAME IS SO MUCH FUN! It's a rhythm game and dungeon crawler at the same time! I haven't played anything this smart and unique in a very long time. It's seriously challenging and I haven't even cleared the first zone yet, but honestly I don't mind. It seems that dungeons are procedurally generated, so it's not that repetitive. And the soundtracks are seriously hype.

Lone Star, from Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery. 

If you ever need a fun and interactive way to calm down, I highly recommend you check out this game. It's really something different and totally worth your while.

The main theme from Pokemon Red and Blue, orchestrated by Pokemon Reorchestrated.  I don't think I need say anymore. We all know what we're about to get into. Listen and enjoy the sounds of your childhood as you've never heard them before. Oh, and for those you playing ORAS? They've covered that too!

I plan on finishing this game sometime tonight and I'm so sad that I'm almost done. I started a day and a half ago and I simply couldn't put it down. The artwork is stunning (I'm quite partial towards European stylized art) and the characters are all so colorful. Monitoring your resources and making sure that your soldiers are well rested actually matters and the choices you make at each obstacle thrown your way can change the course of your games story. 

Most of the time, the options you have aren't even that amazing. It's up to you as the leader of a wandering group to make the final calls, often enough forcing you to the pick the lesser of whatever evils are forced upon you. It's hard to survive in a frozen and dying world. The Banner Saga does a fantastic job of teaching you just that. If you guys like Nordic stuff, then this is the game for you. It's got giants and beasts and these evil things called "The Dredge". Please give it a look, it's absolutely amazing.

If the voice seems familiar it's because the vocals are sung by Ashley Barret, the same woman who voiced the protagonist Red in Transistor, another game produced by the same studio (Supergiant Games). Darren Korb did a stunning job producing this games music, and I highly recommend anyone who's looking for a good indie title to check this one out.

Moon River, from Bayonetta 2. 

If none of you have played a Bayonetta game as of yet, I highly recommend buying Bayonetta 2 for the Wii-U (and if you don't own a Wii-U, that's another issue entirely). Get it for the Wii-U and the game comes with Bayonetta 1 in the box with it for free. And the soundtrack is so chill! Dang I adore this game so much.
