are amongi the new minions?

Do we like amongi like how the elderly like minions

notice how similar they are? Small, cute, distinct creatures from humans, silly looking, has one food they really really like(pizza for amongi and bananas for minions) , both have similar goals (do tasks vs do tasks for an evil master), both have glass on their face, colourful.

Pls note that minions do come in variations, some minions are tall and some have one eye.

Is us liking amongi a sign that we are getting old?

idc who pisses their pants over this but this is what I see when I see people cause a scene about how among us characters are humanized

(image not by me) If you really think like this, you may have a different perspective on what gender is. Gender is a social construct and I dont believe there should be any rules for gender, you see masculine cis women and fem cis men all the time, don’t you? Me personally, if I make humanized versions of the crewmates I will try to make most of them androgynous to my liking because canonically they are genderless beings and I would like to at least keep some semblance of it in their human designs. I don’t consider all of them nonbinary in their human designs, I consider most of them unlabeled or uncaring about gender (I might make cyan genderfluid..they give off that vibe don’t they? “My aura emits..masc energy today.” Lmaoo) (purple I def see as non binary)

like for example if I give a char boobs (ooh scary word) in their human design, I’m probably going to give them a boy or gender neutral name

muscular character? I make them like girly things from time to time despite maybe they do present mostly masc

that being said, it is so annoying going around trying to control designs that are not to your liking. I personally get annoyed when people go out of their way to give the characters gendered pronouns in their human or amongi version but that’s literally just my preference
