📜Hello, and welcome to the Fandomless RP Archive!🗡️
[Pt: Hello, and welcome to the Fandomless RP Archive!]
*all links on this blog have the trackers removed and are safe to click. Anything after the "?" in a link is a tracker used to map user activity.
This is a project done by user @catsithkelpie, who created the group RP methods used in the General OC Roleplay community, and the Fictoreligion RP community.
(Also created a public domain fictoverse, @hamr-sal. If you need a fleshed-out fantasy world for a rp, check that one out!)
After realizing the flaw of communities not allowing sideblogs greatly inhibited the accessibility of this method, mod decided to take on the task of migrating all the functions of a Tumblr community onto an archive blog!
To submit a RP "Lorebook Post," RB the post linked here with the details of your RP, in accordance with the rules and guidelines↓. (Here is an example)
To submit a RP blog to the blog archive, go to this post.
(Mod pronouns & terms, submission rules, etc. below the cut.) There are currently •10 rules.
Moderator pronouns: Anything but She/Her
Moderator Terms: Masc/Neu/Fem/Nonhuman
Rules for RP participation and submission:
This archive is for all ages, as long as you are a semi-experienced roleplayer. Preferably with a long history of text roleplays, but the bare minimum requirement is to have RPd with an experienced roleplayer at least once or twice, preferably having experience in group RPs. As this archive is minor-friendly, please mark NSFW RPs mature before submitting. Your ocs can make out under an unfiltered post, fine, but if things are going to get spicy, you need to timeskip so younger kids can't stumble across smut.
RPs will be organized by "lorebook" posts. If you have a submission, you make a detailed description of the lore/rules of the world, the general plotline you want the RP to follow, tag it with any possible trigger/content warnings, and clearly write out at the top of the post (preferably in large text with plain text accompaniment) the preferred age range of participants, preferred literacy level (2-3 sentence minimum responses are the default, but you may specify otherwise if you wish), and what topics need to be avoided for your own comfort. RPs will be located in the comments of that post. You may name your RP and tag the post with that name to make it and related posts more searchable.
Please be respectful. This archive accepts everyone, as long as they are not causing themselves or others harm. If you disagree with someone, please do it politely and respectfully, and be open to learning.
If you would like to implement some math rocks (dice) into your RP to add a solution to the age-old "I killed you with my super-mega magic sword!" "No you didn't, I dodged it!" Issue, then please share what website you use so everyone can plea to the dice gods themselves. If you need a neutral party to roll dice, you can send me an ask and I'll roll for you.
ONLY your ocs may be used in roleplay. Characters that do not belong to you are forbidden. I'm sorry, but you may not have a character from Genshin or Arcane or anything else in someone's fantasy RP.
If someone isn't responding in RP (likely because they aren't notified), you can notify them by liking or replying to their latest comment, so that they'll receive a notification.
Because of course a Mary Sue rule would be on the lucky number, I saved this rule for this one.
You may have characters that APPEAR to be a Mary Sue (Pretty, perfect, everyone or almost everyone loves them), but the character has some secret inner turmoil, anxiety, or some dark reason for their perfection. You may NOT have a true Mary Sue. Give your oc some depth, please. Also, if your oc has prejudice of some kind, please check with everyone involved that your bigot is allowed to be bigoted and that it won't upset anyone out of RP.
This should go without saying, but don't join a roleplay if you're not someone who can be active and reply at least 1-2 times a day, most days (4/7 days). Unless the roleplay specifies otherwise, the standard should be that everyone can enjoy the RP without being held up by one person. If you are abruptly busy without warning, please make time to mention that in RP out-of-character text so no one is waiting for you.
If you do not have a RP blog for your OC, it would be preferred that you make one. Otherwise, reblog the lorebook post with the details of your OC. A physical description and at least a short bio containing pronouns and relevant information is needed. (Image optional.)
More rules will likely be added as more issues arise. Try not to be the reason a new rule is added, or I'll name it after you. If you need clarification on any rules, ask me. You may also suggest new rules/changes to current rules, but not all suggestions will be accepted!
To submit your blog to the archive, reblog this post onto your rp blog, or listing the handle of your rp blog, or comment below. Don't include anything but the blog handle(s) in your submission, it makes for easier copy-pasting. (You can also reblog just to spread the word.)
The definition of "fandomless" just means that no one has to go consume an external piece of media to understand your story. If your character has their own universe and story attached to the blog itself, that's fine. If your blog interacts with fandom rp blogs often, but isn't necessarily from that world, that's fine.
I will not thoroughly vet blogs before adding them to the archive. View any blog listed at your own risk.
Ages: All, Literacy Level: 2-3 sentences minimum (don't feel pressured to be detailed though), Universe: @hamr-sal
Community post version (safe link, no tracker)
Each and every soul is called to meet at the world's Centerpoint for a gathering. The leaders of each community must discuss recent goings-on to keep the rest of the world up-to-date, make demands, or request aid from the other communities.
These annual gatherings are also perfect opportunities for souls to decide whether they might want to leave their home and move to a land better suited for them once they are to leave Centerpoint.
Doubles as an example for formatting RP Submissions.
(Don't feel pressured to make long, detailed responses!! That's just my own purrsonal writing style!)

Takes place in a snowy enchanted forest during winter, magic and non-magic creatures alike form an unlikely pack to survive the frost, (late RP →) eventually uncovering a connection with nature that grants them special elemental abilities.
