when it comes to reading comics, especially pre 2000s, I really do have a certain threshold for "is the character bigoted for X reason" or "does the author hold these bigoted beliefs and incorporated them into writing the character despite them being historically established as otherwise" and as a queer woc myself I do have. a lot of complicated feelings on this matter

🔥: Easy. I want someone who is incredibly smart, frustratingly responsible, and completely grounded. They'd be a total nerd who worries too much, but would always show up when things get dangerous—probably always carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, even for things that aren't their responsibility.
