“Eren. Enough,” Levi glared at the younger boy. Eren pouted.
“But Leviiiiii,” he whined, “You haven’t hugged me for days.” Levi shrugged him off and walked towards his desk.
“Don’t fucking touch me.” Eren’s eyes widened and his arms slowly made its way back to his sides.
“Wh… Did I do something wrong?” Eren asked, hurt clearly shining in his eyes. Levi looked away, his face shadowed by his bangs. He didn’t answer, and Eren clenched his fist.
“What did I do? Have I done something to upset you?” Eren took a step towards Levi, his frustration and confusing calling for tears. Levi has been more and more distant from him lately, for reasons he didn’t even understand. Levi’s jaw tightened.
“Eren… Stay away.” Levi said under his breath. He was tense, and looked like he wanted to just go in a corner and hide. Eren’s eyes narrowed.
“This is about what Erwin and Hanji said, isn’t it?” Eren asked, the realization hitting him. Levi’s eyes widened and he looked up.
“Yah, I heard. Levi, listen,” Eren took another step towards him. Levi shook his head.
“No, stay away!” He shouted, tears welling in the corners of his eyes. Levi silently cursed himself for letting his emotions overwhelm him. Eren stopped, but smiled, and softly took another step towards him. Levi took a step back, his body shrinking.
“Stay away Eren!” Levi shrieked, “We can’t do this, I can’t get close to you.” Eren ignored him, and holding his arms out, stepped closer and closer to Levi. Levi backed up until his back was to the wall, and his shoulders shook slightly. Eren was about to reach Levi, when Levi fiercely held his fist up to Eren’s chest.
“No!” He shrieked, a tear dropping.Eren stopped in that position for a second, figuring what was safe and what wasn’t, before he realized that he really didn’t give a shit at this point. Eren used his strength to overcome the strength of the barrier Levi held up with his hands, and hugged Levi. Levi’s eyes widened and he shook.
“N-no, don’t, Eren…” Levi whispered weakly. Tears finally spilled.
“Levi… Listen to me. I’d never betray you, I’d never-”
“But if you do Eren! I have to be the one to kill you and-”
“I don’t care. I’d rather die in your hands than in anyone else’s.”
Levi wanted to sob at that. How could he say something like that so easily? Like it was just drinking tea during the day?
“What the hell makes you think I want to kill the one thing I love the most?! You IDIOT, taking it so lightly!” Levi shouted, tears falling still.
“You think I don’t love you too Levi? And do you honestly think distancing yourself from me will make things any better? No. I understand perfectly well. I love you just as much Levi… More than anything. What makes you think I don’t?” Eren responded, still hugging Levi. Levi sniffed and let his head drop onto Eren’s shoulder.
“You don’t have a reason, do you?” Eren whispered into Levi’s ear, bringing his hand up to Levi’s cheek. He wiped the tears that came falling out. Levi selfishly leaned into the touch, letting out a shaky breath. Eren brought his eyes to Levi’s and stared straight into them. Levi looked up at him.
“Levi, no matter what, I won’t betray you. And if I do, I don’t want anyone else but you, the person I trust most in this world, to carry out my punishment. No one.” Eren cupped Levi’s cheeks and placed a soft kiss on his eye, and on his forehead. He lifted his right hand and entangled it into Levi’s rather soft hair.
“You’re beautiful…” Eren murmured. Levi wanted to cry and crawl into Eren’s lap and just forget everything.
“Brat…” He muttered. Eren smiled and looked at Levi again.
“That’s the Levi I know.” He kissed his lips softly, and Levi, in turn, kissed back. He wrapped his arms around his neck for support. Eren left a trail of kisses down Levi’s neck, grazing his teeth slightly on his pale, delicate skin. Levi shivered and tilted his head slightly, giving Eren a better angle. Eren smirked and bit the top of his ear. Levi blushed slightly and turned to look at Eren.
“Oi. You know I don’t like that.”
“You know you love it, heichou.” Levi willed himself not to get turned on by his title.
“I hate you…’ Levi muttered. Eren smiled.
