Fandomstuck Steven Universe AU

Welcome to Fandomstuck Steven Universe AU. This AU takes place in the Steven Universe World (with out all the main characters) and is set in the far future (okay about 20 years). Earth and the Gem Homeworld have made piece with each other. Unfortunately there are still some gems and humans who don't see this eye to eye. What makes it worse is that there is clearly a Gem Hierarchy. The Top of the chain were Diamonds. On the bottom of that were Half human half gems. On the very bottom were the humans. There were of course the Noble Class humans as well. Now this AU is supposed to be fun. The plot is not a big deal but it makes it easier to roleplay and have fun. [same anon as a second ago] Right, I imagine deadly gems aren't very common then? no where near diamond standard but more like low-upperclass? or maybe high-middleclass. And I think most of these gems would get frustrated by treaties with any species that is harmed by them, carrying constant medication [if possible] and just having to warn everyone not to touch them, even in a case of deadly-if-ingested.

I’d have to say that yeah, they can’t be that common at all because of how they could end up hurting themselves and/or others (possibly) daily. I’d say high middle class, for most of them only because then they wouldn’t interact with humans as much, but because they’d still be living near them they would end up having to carry that stuff around.

 If they didn’t want to do that though, then they’d might end up being closed off in wherever they live with some sort of “humans do not enter” sign or something.-Rena

Since previous anon mentioned Cinebar and Galena, i thought it would be interesting to ask how humans are effected by minerals/gems that are normally deadly to humans? Especially with minerals that need to be partially ingested, since i think if you touch Galena and then eat something you get poisoned or something similar. [also im pretty sure malachite is a mineral, they should be allowed either way]

((Well I’d say for minerals/gems that are deadly to humans would stay deadly to them, and that they’d probably be avoided by most humans/half-gems because of that.

 Though if it’s a case like Galena where if you touch them and eat something then get poisoned, I’d just say to have that other to wash their hands and the problem should be avoided? So there might be some other ways around it too?-Rena

I have two questions. 1 - are gemstones the only ones accepted? or stones/minerals fine too? for example Cinebar and Galena? 2 - what fandoms are already taken, as in are definitely not open to be used by anyone else?

((1. I believe stones and minerals should be fine, I personally don’t see a problem with it. So I’d say go ahead and do it, though if crow ends up saying no, then it would be a no. So just in case she does say no, you might want a gemstone recolor in mind?

2. Well we have Hetastuck, MH stuck, karneval,JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, 2P!hetalia, PMMM Fandom , Tomas Was Alone ,  Leviathan, Diabolik Lovers, Sherlock(this is unsure, they don’t have a blog?),  Harvest Moon, portal, spyro, and Spore.(As a note the rest of my fandoms will be made and will be put on here.)

Though while these are up here, I don’t see the reason why there can’t be multiples, because they’ll be refereed to as their gem/ect name, and they should all have different colorings, clothing, and gem if a gem at all! (*Added note, because they’re gems in this au and not fandoms, they also won’t be able to possess any ability their fandom done unless it is implemented in to the character. ex) anons magic is still there, but as a gem there is limited use.)-Rena

Deepest apologies, was too busy to ask anything for the past couple of days. What is the general plot of the rp? If you can share? Even if its a loose plot it would be interesting to know what direction it will go in, relationship between humans and gems? Some kind of evil? -Scarf

It’s not a problem!

As far as we(meaning as of right now I) know of, there is no evil so to say(not saying that some diamond or other gem could stir some drama up or anything, it just hasn’t happened.) yet, and there probably won’t be as of now seeing as it’s hard enough for me to run this on my own.

Think of it as a daily life with the humans, half-gems/humans, and gems with their various roles in society! There’s lots of things that can go on with just that alone, and frankly that’s really as far as we planned up to! -Rena

Scarf is making another appearance because they are very fascinated with this AU. Could you give a maybe rough approximation of how most gems and humans interact even though theres peace? I'd assume humans try to blatantly ignore any kind of Gem Hierarchy because lets face it most humans are stubborn jerks. Do lower gems maybe get on with humans more? Oh and, thank you for responding to my questions.

Well yeah, some(probably most) would end up ignoring it, or they flat out wouldn’t understand it and not bother to learn about it. 

I want to say that lower gems would, and the more higher up wouldn’t, seeing as they might see humans as the lowest of the low, as when the lower gems wouldn't see it as such of a big problem. 

Though it really depends on the gems personality, because they could be a lower gem and hate humans, or they could be a higher gem and love them-or not mind them as much at least! -Rena

Do gems need colour schemes? Like if a gem is a Sapphire is it necessary for it to have a full blue colour scheme? Because as far as I know it's up to the gem to decide its physical appearance, so while some gems might have a set colour schemes others may not?

Now this is a little tricky because different colored gems are treated differently than one another. So if your gem is a blue sapphire, they’d have to stay blue, though minor changes can be made! (not saying there couldn’t be a diamond color in there if they serve a diamond, because that’s perfectly okay!) 

Then there are gems that have many, many colors in them right? For gems like that it can be hard to keep one color pallet, so if they reform, they don’t have to have the same exact color pallet, though you have to make it clear that it’s still the same gem.(So you can change their hair color/eye color as well as style but you would want to keep a few key things like their skin color, and something else the same, or pretty close!)-Rena

Same anon as the Hierarchy question, I'm probably going to be asking a lot of things so I'll greet you as Scarf. It's fine for the slow amount of time, I don't mind, an answer is an answer~ Just to cement my understanding, so gemstones like quartz, which are commonly found yet come in a variety of colours would be regarded as rather low-low, even a rarer quartz colour, while gemstones like a rare Red Diamond would be considered highest of high because of both gem and colour rarity?

 So there could be tons of quartz then, but for the higher up stones like the diamonds and such, there’d be fewer of them.-Rena

I was wondering how the gem hierarchy might work? Other than the basics of diamons on top what else is regarded as high class? Rare gems? or rare Colourations, like blue garnets and sunrise rubies?

Yes! Rare gems would be considered higher class, as well as colorations. So each gem type would be in a class of low/middle/high/royalty! 

 Then with in each gem type there’d be a system from low-high in there too! So there would be gems that would be the lowest of the low, to the very tippy top! -Mod Rena

Sooo sorry for the long break

All the mods have been very busy and occupied! We are starting back up very soon! We will have new rules and an easier registration process! There will be a new chat as well! Since Summer break is happening for most people it will be easier to fill up the chat and promote it than it was last time! And also because I am competitive and don’t like my idea, hard-work to be stolen.
