i do still have a fandomstuck blog...
Wow, I have not used this blog in... Months.
I haven't stopped thinking about it, trust me.
The reviews of FNAF3 are truly magical
but I do have a personal favourite
dreamyfandom:
… Find something.
[There is hesitation on the last part of her sentence, to find a good way to phrase it. In truth, this employment is sinister, going into someone’s psyche through their dream, finding a piece of them…]
[And stealing away a piece. To take a piece of a person is to be a spy, taking dreams and removing them, ending the reverie. She is aware of the awfulness of this concept; but God does she love her job, and God does she hope she won’t be alone in it anymore.]
[Contrary to the other’s enthusiasm, Dreamy responds with uncertainty.]
… Take something? That doesn’t sound good… And I’m not sure I’d like to be a servant…
[Of course, xe already kind of takes things from people— their entire dreams, that is, but they’re always nightmares. That’s how it goes for a baku— it’s a symbiotic thing. Xe gets food, the other gets a peaceful sleep. But… Taking just one thing from somebody’s subconscious like that? That doesn’t sound so good…]
Hm-mm-mm.. [Paprika chews at the inside of her lip for a moment.]
But these people... Who you and I'd be taking from... They stole these things first. I just bring it back to the chairman, compressed into some digital files, and and he puts it back.
[She moves closer to Dreamy, holding her palms up] I can't really do a thing like this alone, riiight? I always hear folks talk about your dreaming abilities, so why not? Why not use them to better affect reality?
[Dreamy watches her closely, stepping aside just a tad bit as she steps up with hir.]
… Well, I already do that… But it does sound interesting… What more is involved, anyway…?
Wel-l! It's the greatest show! Essentially, you'd be a "handservant" to a mysterious councilman.
[She turns her back to Dreamy, gazing around curiously at the surroundings. For dramatic effect, she whips back around, holding her hands up]
There's this guy! And he's practically from a mystery movie. I've only met him a few times, but he IS trustworthy. He provides room and board wherever you want to live, tools, and once-in-a-while, you get a note. An assignment. And you go, and enter someone's specific dream, and you... Find something.
[There is hesitation on the last part of her sentence, to find a good way to phrase it. In truth, this employment is sinister, going into someone's psyche through their dream, finding a piece of them...]
[And stealing away a piece. To take a piece of a person is to be a spy, taking dreams and removing them, ending the reverie. She is aware of the awfulness of this concept; but God does she love her job, and God does she hope she won't be alone in it anymore.]
[Paprika puts her hands together, watching the feline move on. Cutie. She blinks back to Dreamy, looking amused.]
I’m Paprika..!
I’m supposed to come interview you - for a position at the place I’m employed.
[The elder perks up in surprise, pulling hir head back the slightest bit.]
An interview— for a job?
[Xe is still for a moment before knitting hir brows in concern.]
… Well— I’d be honored, for whatever this position is, but… I warn you, I’m not great at staying awake…
Mm-hmm. So I hear.
[She steps onto the porch of Dreamy's home]
I doubt you would have to stay awake very much in this job, though. I think the gist of it is that you enter people's dreams. Like me!
[She smiles warmly, trying to make it sound appealing.]
There are no boundaries in dreams. No restrictions from one’s own physical body. You have entered a new world where the spirit is free, and that freedom is limitless!
Paprika (2006)
[Paprika pauses for a moment, just looking at Dreamy, and the feline. Xe’s pretty, she thinks.] [Old in eyes, probably seen a lot, but a cutie in body!] Yo! You must be the Dreamy Fandom, correct?
[Dreamy slowly nods in response, shifting hir hold on the cat as she climbs up onto hir shoulder and hops off from there. A slight look of disappointment crosses over the fandom’s face as xe cranes hir neck to see the kitten pad away.
Just a second after, xe looks back at Paprika.]
Yes, that’s me… What’s up…?
[Paprika puts her hands together, watching the feline move on. Cutie. She blinks back to Dreamy, looking amused.]
I'm Paprika..!
I'm supposed to come interview you - for a position at the place I'm employed.
[Running again, hurrying up, Paprika laughs and waves, calling out as she comes to the house. Huh, what a neat feline. Truly a dream world.]
Hey-yyy!! Hello!
[The elder lifts hir head up to see the other, blinking owlishly as xe watches her approach. Xe doesn’t have any memory of the other, so… Who could she be?]
(Quis est…?)
[Dream is still for a moment before gently scooping the kitten into hir arms and dragging hirself up to hir feet. Maybe she needs something from hir…? … Yeah, that would make sense. After all, that’s absolutely always the case nowadays. Lightly biting down on the inside of hir cheek, xe puts a grin on hir face as xe greets the other.]
Hello there, stranger… What brings you here…?
[Paprika pauses for a moment, just looking at Dreamy, and the feline. Xe's pretty, she thinks.] [Old in eyes, probably seen a lot, but a cutie in body!]
Yo! You must be the Dreamy Fandom, correct?
[Her mouth falls open into a smile, her hands in loose fists as she runs, watching the dream she’s entered go by, shift, become another’s. Dream travel is fairly easy for her with her DC Mini, a headband tucked beneath her hair and visible behind her ears. It’s something she made herself, an improvement upon the original from her home film. With it, she has a much easier time finding the people she’s looking for. And here, in a land covered in an ethereal aesthetic, Paprika screeches to a stop.]
[Panting, she grins and leans over, hands on her knees.]
…I’ve made it… This is supposed to be where the Dreamy Fandom lives..?
[Not that far ahead, there’s a clearing in the expansive forest that blankets the realm. In the center is a small home that seems to have just came out of 1940s America, painted to match the soft color scheme of the world it resides in.
There on the home’s porch sits the planet’s short denizen, hir movements light and gentle as xe brushes hir fingers through the fur of a delicate feline that has sat herself on hir lap.
Even with the distance between the denizen and the guest, there’s no mistaking the former’s identity: Dream, one of the universe’s oldest beings known as “fandoms” despite hir youthful appearance.
Dream takes no notice of the other’s arrival, too engrossed in hir ministrations over the creature’s creamy fur to focus on anything else around hir.]
(How... Pretty.)
[She takes a few breaths, and starts moving on. The forest is absolutely gorgeous, she's thinking, finding it like a giant art piece in its magnificence. She's aan art lover, and vaguely she wonders if one could cut some wood or other plant matter away to take home. Anyway, she's on a mission - ! ]
[She enters the clearing with a joyful shout, practically skipping now.]
What a quaint home..!
[Running again, hurrying up, Paprika laughs and waves, calling out as she comes to the house. Huh, what a neat feline. Truly a dream world.]

[A wave of pink clouds moves overhead, and Paprika ducks slightly, even though they wouldn't be harmful. Her red hair is blown by wind, by the force of her running, and the ground she traverses is that of a dream. She is the Paprika Fandomstuck, searching through the dreamscape for the home of a certain someone who's name she heard through the grapevine.]

yes, gender is complicated. yes, there are a lot of gender identities youve probably never heard of. but thats only because cis people have normalized their own gender identities so much that it makes trans and nonbinary people seem nonexistant. so stop blaming trans and nonbinary people for the confusion they never even caused because i promise, this situation is much harder for them than it is for you.
