Some random canon facts about the characters
Because while headcanons are fun and all, none I could come up with could ever actually beat the canonical things Furudate has written. Some are more obvious than others of course and these are just off the top of my head
Daichi canonically does not trust Suga to be in charge of the club when he isn't there because he's too easy to get to play along with their shenanigans
Suga also decided to come up with an autograph for Kageyama (without his input). This included the idea of a heart at the end, and a drawing of his face that looked more like Asahi's
Tsukishima is irritated because Sugawara constantly mimics his voice and actions and he has to ask him to stop doing it
Basically, Suga is a dork
(This was a drama CD so as far as I remember I'm not sure if this is manga canon but it's too funny not to mention) Asahi dresses up as and plays Jesus every Christmas at Karasuno
Ennoshita is basically the team's mind reader
Nishinoya was very easily frightened as a little kid of everything. His teammates didn't believe it and all thought he was talking about a past life
Daichi got chewed out by the vice principal because he and the basketball captain were racing to beat each other to lunch and he set off the fire alarm because he wasn't looking where he was going
Tanaka had bleach blond hair in his first year and when he went in one day with it shaved off, Suga's first reaction was to ask "can I touch it?" (Refer back to my Suga is a dork comment)
Yamaguchi is around 5 foot 11 for most of the series (yeah, I'm still shocked by how tall he is, so I'm including it)
Karasuno had meetings about 1) why girls don't like Nishinoya, and 2) why girls don't like Tanaka that ended with Noya making Kageyama buy him an ice cream for calling him short and Tanaka attempting to build a time machine
Kageyama was so surprised seeing Kenma actually run to get the ball at one point, that he looked at him and completely seriously and shocked asked "you can move?"
Kenma dyed his hair because Yamamoto said it made him stand out and he didn't want to be noticed but refused to cut it
He also talks about getting better at volleyball using gaming terminology
Fukunaga threw a bucket of water over Kenma and Yamamoto when they were arguing to get them to stop
Yaku and Kuroo insult each other with chemistry jokes
Akaashi has a numbered list of Bokuto's weaknesses, completely memorised. At the very least, there's 37 on there
Actually, the entire team is completely done with everything regarding them and it's hilarious.
(Another drama CD) Kindaichi asked his team to give him a nickname, but once they remembered what Hinata called him, they couldn't come up with anything that wasn't "turnip head"
Oikawa got his jockstrap signed by his idol
Tendou is a Shounen jump fan (and according to Haikyubu tried to write a manga that was...only a little derivative)
Ushijima reads the ads instead of the actual comics (also according to the spin off, he has great art skills)
Other SJ fans include Shouyou and Ukai
I'm tired so these are the very basic ones, but basically, every team is just a bunch of idiots acting like they have more than 3 braincells between them to use
