―before applying to join fanfic dispatch, please take a moment to make sure you meet the following guidelines. these help us maintain a safe and active space for everyone in the network.
you must be 18 or older. this is a strictly 18+ community. we ask that all applicants be honest about their age. any minors found applying or participating will be removed from the network and added to our internal blacklist for the safety of our members.
you should be an active writer with fics currently posted on your blog. we’re looking to build a creative space with writers who are excited to share their work and engage with others.
to be eligible, you must have at least one completed fic (any format is fine), or three smaller works (like drabbles, one shots, smaus, etc.) already published on your blog.
you must be following this tumblr blog (@fanficdispatch) at the time of applying. it’s how we share updates and connect with our members across platforms.
joining the discord server is required. it’s the heart of the network where we chat, share resources, post updates, and support one another. you’ll get access once your application is accepted.
・ ⟢ ⋮ general guidelines ゛༝.
―fanfic dispatch is meant to be a safe, supportive, and creative space for writers and readers alike. as such, we ask all members to approach the network and each other with respect and kindness.
we have a zero tolerance policy for bullying or harassment of any kind, both within and outside of the network. this includes but is not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and any form of discrimination or targeted hostility.
fan wars are not welcome here. this is a multi stan space where we celebrate creativity, not competition. we ask that you uplift others, even if you don’t share the same fandoms or favorite groups. kindness goes a long way.
as stated above, this is a multi stan network. we welcome fans from all groups and corners of kpop fandom. password: dude he's flirting. we encourage members to explore and support each other’s works, even if it’s outside your usual fandoms. who knows, you might find your next bias through someone else’s fic.
plagiarism and creative theft will not be tolerated. if you are found to have copied another creator’s work without permission, be it writing, concepts, banners, or layouts, you will be removed from the network and added to the blacklist. we’re here to encourage original work and creativity, not to profit off someone else’s.
now let’s talk about credit.
if someone helped you brainstorm a plot twist, beta read a chapter, made a moodboard, or created a banner for your fic, credit them. tag their blog. give them the visibility they deserve. a simple shout out can go a long way in recognizing someone else’s time, energy, and creative input.
here’s the golden rule:
if the idea wasn’t entirely yours from the start, credit every person who contributed. even if they just helped in passing. if their input helped shape your work, show them love.
and please don’t write someone else’s idea unless you have explicit permission from them to do so.
if repeated oversights happen, we’ll reach out. we’re not looking to penalize anyone, but if it becomes a pattern, we’ll need to step in. it’s not about calling people out. it’s about maintaining a community rooted in trust, collaboration, and creative respect.
―fanfic dispatch was built with one goal in mind: to support you. whether you’re an experienced writer or just now gaining confidence to share your work, we’re here to uplift, encourage, and help however we can.
that said, communication is key. if you’re planning to go on hiatus, taking a step back from writing, or making major changes to your blog, please let us know through the proper channels. we’re not here to pressure anyone. we just want to support you the best way we can, and we can’t do that unless you keep us in the loop.
・ ⟢ ⋮ fic guidelines ゛༝.
―as a writing network, our top priority is to uplift the incredible work you share, but we also have some boundaries in place to make sure everyone feels respected and safe.
when submitting a fic to be considered for reblogging, please include:
the member or group featured
the pairing, if any
the genre
any and all trigger warnings
a word count
if it’s longer than 500 words, please use a read more cut
we will not reblog or engage with works that include:
any content involving minors, even if sfw
glamorization of suicide, self harm, or mental illness
graphic depictions of noncon, dubcon, rape, incest, or anything illegal
anything that makes the admin or mod team feel uncomfortable or unsafe
this isn’t about censorship. it’s about curating a space we feel good supporting. if your fic doesn’t meet our content standards, we simply won’t reblog it. no hard feelings, we just have to honor our boundaries.
and don’t forget to use the #fanficdispatch tag within the first five tags of your post. that’s how we track your work and support it as quickly as possible.
we want to cheer you on and share your work with others, but we also want to make sure we’re protecting our community while doing so. 💛
