he’s almost too busy laughing at her comment to catch her lips when she kisses him. the amount of jealousy paige holds towards others on his behalf, on top of the constant badgering and need for attention, amuses (and flatters) him. it’s a comfort to him to know someone is just as possessive over him as he is over them. wrapping his arms around her waist, he pulls away from her after a moment, head leaning back to look at her. “that so?” both of his brows rise, a smirk playing on his lips, “so, does that mean you should just get all of my attention, all of the time, then?”

❝ duh, daddy. ❞ as if there’s any other option. her arms wrap loosely around his neck, fingers running through the hair on the back of randy’s head. ❝ how could you not give me all your attention ? look’it me. ❞ look at her indeed; in her usual at-home attire of panties and one of her boyfriend’s shirts with her hair in a bun. paige wiggles in randy’s lap and offers an innocent little smile.

he blinks a few times, pulling his arm away from her to come around her body securely. both brows rise as he looks to her, eyes silently darting between her own eyes and her lips – randy’s instinct has yet to be wrong with her. maybe she wasn’t plotting on stabbing him to death, but he just knew she was plotting something, and that much was obvious just by the look on her face and tone of voice.

“mm…” he hums softly, thumb brushing along her arm, head leaning back, “are you trying to tell me you’d prefer to get the attention that jodi is apparently getting from me, through the tv?”

without hesitation, ❝ mhm ! ❞ paige was forever attention starved when it came to randy and it was even worse when he was focusing on another woman; tv and serial killer title be damned. her pout has since turned into a grin and she shifts under the man’s arm and moves to perch comfortably on his lap. no way he can ignore me now. ❝ i’m your princess. not her. ❞ and as if to prove her point, she presses a kiss to randy’s lips that’s slow and lingers.

his eyes are focused in on the television in front of him, everything else about him essentially ignoring her. randy’s nothing less than a sucker for a good doc- umentary about serial killers, and there’s just something about jodi arias that has his interest. the longer the special runs, though, the more nervous he feels; it’s as if someone is watching him, and it’s freaking him out. when he turns his head, he’s calmed, realizing it’s just her staring at him. “…what? what the hell are you lookin’ at?”

❝ you. just admirin’ your beautiful face. ❞ her head is tilted, a sneaky smile on her bare lips. paige, in her own right, was a sucker for anything regarding serial killers. but it was clear she had nothing on randy who by the look of it was suddenly apprehensive. as if she might be plotting something. and was, as usual. but nothing that could be looped in with the behavior of a murderer.

scooting in closer, the brit curls into randal’s side and sighs in content. ❝ kinda jealous though. she’s getting all your attention and here i am pushed to the side. ❞ now she’s upset, makeup-less face turning up towards his with a firm pout.
