Farkle did in fact notice. Well, to be clear, he noticed something, but he wasnât entirely sure what it was. He has had mixed reactions on his jokes before, they tended to be huge swings and misses. But the strange flash of teethâthat didnât seem to have something right about themâ then startled reaction was odd. He assumed it was nothing, rather than embarrass himself, and moved on.
âI donât really know about vampires. Despite the centuries of us knowing and sometimes tolerating their existence, vampires keep to themselves and their power a secret from wizards with good reasons. It wasnât until the Ministry came out with a law for the Treatment of Non-Wizard Part-Humans that thereâs been a semblance of peace.â Farkle tried to explain, it was a very complicated matter, one that he hadnât been well-versed in. âI know they have some kind of magic, although Iâm unsure if itâs a wizardâs magic or something else. Magic corrupted.â
âIt must suck, you know. Â Being a vampire.â Â she sighs. Â âThe sun being their killer; that and wooden stakes but Iâm not exactly sure. Â Though, you did answer my question so I guess youâll be my tutor. Â Iâm only available on Tuesdays and Wednesday as Monday and Thursday Iâm busy with club things and friday is devoted to outside activities.â Â She graces him with a smile before looking at the older boy dead in the eye.
âMake me study on the weekend and you wonât wake up Monday morning due to excruciating death.â
