Past Patiently Waiting || Smarkle
@farkleminklet
Smackle had been waiting patiently, and usually she was fairly good at being patient, but this time was different. She had waited for approximately a week to hear back from Farkle about her inquiry and had received nothing.
Zero.
Nil.
Naught.
So she decided to take matters into her own hands and confront him about the matter again, because honestly, she can be a bit impatient at times. (ah smackle) Making her way to the library yet again, this time with an aura of importance and not nervousness. Before uttering a greeting she pulled the chair back from across the table and sat down.
“Hello person who has not notified me on current root word to our suffix esis.”

Talan was sat up against a wall in the library with his head shoved in a copy of the fifth book of the series ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ by Lemony Snicket. He had read this copy at least eight times and it was evident in the way the binding was creased backwards as if he kept bending it. This series was one of his favorites, because it was on of the first muggle series he had ever read. The day he’d found the first installment in a shop on his ninth birthday still lingered in his mind, because at the time he had only thought reading thin books with ten chapters and twenty point font was the best he could do. So he’d read the title of the book and bought it with some money he had left over and the rest was history. Since then he’d read the series over dozens of times, and he’d felt compelled to do so over winter break, resulting in his reading the fifth installment next to a window in a tiny corner of the library he’d lovingly nicknamed ‘the nook’. The nook was a great place to read, no one ever seemed to bother him and when they did it was evident he was deep in thought and he shouldn’t be bothered for more than a few minutes. And yet on this blustery day, the library seemed to have more people than usual, and Talan’s quiet space was growing louder as more students came in to do their last minute research. He looked out at the room over the top of his book and frowned, of course people would ruin his day, they always did.

Parker: is there a point to any of these classes?
Parker: It makes no sense that as a musician I'll need to know how to make half of these potions

@elleambition He needed a break, an escape from the stupid mess he had caused with Adrian and Mekhai and needed someone to help him do so. Landon knew for a fact that if you wanted something done, you go to Elle. So when he saw the small blonde a smile crossed his face, he walked up behind her and pulled her into a hug. "Before you kill me for touching you, I need you to help me." Landon said looking at her.
