Here’s Judith in her happy place, the garden of her avocado and lemon ranch in Carpinteria, California, with (I believe) her nephew and nieces. The photo comes from a book about the local area, which looks like it’s a world away from the hustle and bustle (and stress) of Hollywood and Broadway.
Judith’s impressive Palladian-style house and 14-acre grounds still exist and are worth millions of dollars. So, if we want to live like a Dame, we’d better start saving up…
