@carlosdorleans I read some more bewitched! Chapter 9 and 10! Let me just say the small part where Carlos got sick in chapter 9 and was on the toilet and it distracted him from his yearning for Severus hit me way too hard. Sometimes I would prefer to feel physically sick than deal with my thoughts even though it's usually not yearning thoughts when I do want to feel sick. It's usually like sewer slidal or panicked.
That part in from in the pit with piper where he faked a seizure to get out of being in trouble for steriods-

My personal headcanon for Carlos's gender is a little different from yours. I think he's nonbinary and uses he/him. Not identifying as male. You gotta remember back in that day some women who weren't even trans just pretended to be men because all they wanted was rights. Think Mulan. I've never seen Mulan all the way through but I think that's what it's about??? I apologize if I'm wrong because I seriously can't think of other examples of it I learned about it back in the day but I can't remember the specifics it just sounds like something that happened. Like maybe Carlos was forced to be more masculine kinda the way Monsieur was forced to be more feminine idk?? But like the opposite of that make him seem more manly so he seems like a "good ruler"
Also it's bullshit Carlos can dance I used to injure myself dancing all the time when I was younger my neck still hasn't recovered how the fuck can Carlos dance. I was just in my room dancing not anything cool.
