We are so excited to announce that we are doing 22 Days of Troye this year!

22DoT is an edit challenge to celebrate Troye Sivan’s birthday and to raise money for Minus18. From May 15th we ask all of you join us in filling 22 prompts by posting any kind of fanwork each day until Troye’s birthday on June 5th.

to donate, go to the Minus18 chuffed page and choose any amount (5, 25, 50 and 100 Australian Dollars are default options but you can put in your own). bear in mind that there will be a small credit card fee on top of your donation (and a donation to chuffed if you want, but that one you can opt out of by clicking on the second ‘edit’). 

after giving your credit card information you will be asked if you really want to donate the amount you put in and that’s it!

you will then receive an email confirming your donation. to participate in our giveaway please send us a screenshot of that email but make sure it doesn’t have any of your personal details on it. 

the winner will be picked on June 5th and gets 24 hours to reply.

‘2016 was our deadliest year on record, with 27 transgender people killed in the US alone, the vast majority of victims being trans women of colour. 8 transgender people have been murdered in hate crimes this year, all trans women of colour. Those are only the stats that have been reported, and it’s barely April. Last year at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, we were the targets of the deadliest mass shooting in American history. 

40% of homeless youth in this country identify as LGBTQ+. We have an administration in power eager to strip us of our most fundamental rights. Clearly, we have a very long way to go. But…we must persist’
