Is there any way I could pay someone who understands ao3 site skins to make me a mobile friendly one? I've tried to mess with them multiple times and it's always ended in tears. I can't deal with how inaccessible ao3 is on my phone, and I'm not coding-savvy enough to fix it myself

Guys does my ao3 hate me? bc I was reading a very angsty marauders fic, and just when I almost completed it and had reached the comfort part of it my ao3 goes down!

Smut fic on AO3 always seems to have a way lower kudos to hits ratio than non-smut fic; because a larger percentage of people reading feel ashamed to attach their screen name to a kudos on an adult fic.

Which is a shame, really.

If you're posting smut, never let yourself be disappointed in the number of kudos.

I am going to hold your hand as I say this...This has happened. People have been doxxed for leaving kudos on fics that the doxxer for whatever reason was against the fic.

And countries such as Russia and China where reading gay smut is a crime and can in fact lead to imprisonment (has in China in recent weeks btw)

People have legitimate reasons for not wanting to leave kudos on certain fics which sucks for the author
