Passion for Art
This is my first video editing done for my best friend for her Re-Ed course. I am the one who took the pictures and as you can see I am indeed hesitant to do so as it conflicted my personal belief that if you do charity camera must out of the picture. However, we do not have bad intentions and we hope to be good young adults to those in need and despair. There are a lot of street dwellers in our city, and to be honest we have this a little sense of guilt in us. While we complain, other people literally do not have a choice in life and choose to be grateful. I just wanna remind our fellow young adults that no matter how poor you are, as long as you have a roof on your head, food on your plate, clothes on your body, and education for your well being, always consider yourself as blessed and be grateful. And if possible, have the courage to give a piece of your heart to those who needed it most.
Trying my best to capture the crescent of the moon. The sun almost goes down and the moon catches its flight early. They call it dusk. I always love catching this scenery every 6:00 pm out of my window. To me, it was the most exciting part as the moon trying to catch up with the Sunās last rays.
Under the face of the most famous villain of all time that played by one of the most popular celebrity --Angelina Jolie, I had experienced one moment of my life that I thought impossible for me to have. I am not an attention seeker, not even a people pleaser. I am not attractive nor pretty. In other words, I am just nobody. I am just an introvert who just love her very own space. I do not care if nobody notices me as I exist or anybody doesn't like me. I am just ordinary. However, that one moment made me realize that I am also human, that loves attention and love by everybody. Wearing the costume of Maleficent played by Angelina Jolie in one event, I do not have the intention of getting the attention of everyone. I was just unlucky to get the character in a piece of paper. Everyone complimented me, calling me Maleficent. They want to have a picture with me, and even stranger talked to me because of that costume. They say I slew the event. With that instant moment, I had felt I am important and not just anybody. That was funny, I just wore the simplest costume of Maleficent, and yet everyone treats me great--treatment I never had before. To be honest, I kinda like it, of course, everyone loves attention and love. All of us wanted to be recognized by everyone, even we deny it, that intention lies in the deepest of our secret. If not, what was the use of posting on a social media platform? After the event, I took off the costume and gone home as ordinary, I just realize that it is not me who got the attention, it is the costume. That event taught me a very important lesson, which is to love myself without the approval of others. I needed not to have worn the face of the famous just to be love and gain the attention, after all, it is not worth it because people love you not by who you are but by who you played. Having the attention is amazing, but gaining the respect you deserve by displaying your true soul was almost perfect. So my advice, go out and wear your skin, let sunshine ignites you. Ā
