i am mildly upset that you cannot make a 'primary' blog pw protected, but after 6 years, i will no longer be using this account. it'll sit here, collecting dust, for archival & personal reasons i hope you all are doing well : -))

i did just send in my "resume" (idk how to do a resume so i wrote some stuff about things i do and my Excellent Customer Service Skills blah blah blah) to the mardi gras store that i applied & interviewed at last year. but when they called me back, i already had the job at DT, so i ignored it. in hind sight, i probably shoulda taken it, but whaaaatever. *crossing fingers*

in the past few months, i have been trying to come to terms with the fact that i am an eternal sloppy person. i throw my clothes on the bedroom floor and don't hang them up/put them away for at least a month (until there's a decent pile of clothes on each wall), i stack plates next to the couch instead of bringing them to the sink, clean laundry stays stacked on top of the dryer while being just a plop of laundry unfolded, i dont think ive cleaned the bathrooms once since we moved in here, i normally don't touch the dishes until it starts smelling funky, there's always things littering the living room floor (currently: a towel?, lunch box of nail stuff, records, lotion, nail polish remover, the torso of an unstuffed teddy bear with no head, a planter, a cat bed that nova never sleeps in, tony's shoes, a backpack, a plastic bag, the list goes on kind of), and my way of 'organizing' is stacking things in neat stacks on top of other things. we have 3 bar stools at our counter. one has a bag of thrifted stuff from 2 weeks ago, the other has books stacked in it, and the other has a stuffed E.T, a hat, a planter and some stuff stuffed into the planter. bags hang off of doorknobs, chair sides, etc. this is who/how i am.i sometimes feel bad about myself for this when i see peoples pictures of clean areas in their homes. everything in my life is a mess, and always has been. that's okay, i think
