Taste of love: love at first bite

Nowadays the K-culture is hitting hard around the world. This time, I want to tell a little story about this picture. I grew up watching dramas and consuming music from several artists from Korea. I find it very inspirational and the moral of some dramas inspired me to keep my path and never give up. My 7-year-old me always was craving to try some Korean dishes, but unfortunately in my country at that time; it wasn't easy to find places where I can try.

As time passes, I still wanted to satisfy that curiosity I'd been feeding all the years. As some people say: you never know what the future has prepared for you. It was for my 21st birthday that I found a nice and popular place where I can go and try Korean food.

As the title says: it was love at first bite. The first I tried was a 도시락, but also I fell in love with some dishes such as tteokbokki, japchae, bulgogi, jjajangmyeon, gyeran-mari, and ramyeon. But honestly, it is hard to choose one favourite!

As a matter of fact, I truly enjoy going to Korean restaurants because it's something I share with my mom. She also fell in love with Korean food and we have this promise of going together to Korea, to explore the wonders of the country and, of course, try traditional and street food.

So… crossing my fingers to make this happen in the future!
