So I was finally Sarah Sanderson for Halloween and it was awesome.

I’ve been out all week and I just got an email from one of my students telling me that she missed me. Like random emails from my students make my heart soar. I miss my kiddos. 😭

I’ve felt like garbage off and on for the last week or so. So I got tested yesterday, and the wait kind of really sucks…

Turned out it was 2-7 days. I just heard today. I was tested on Thursday and heard back the following Wednesday.... and then I waited at the walk in clinic for 2 hours in my car, 1.5 hours in the room, and then the provider would not listen to me and then we went back and forth on whether there was really a line on the strep test because that was the faintest pink line I’ve ever seen. Whatever though, I thought it might by laryngitis or bronchitis which both would have been treated with an antibiotic which I got so 🤷🏼‍♀️

As if this whole year wasn’t frustrating enough. I get to listen to all these kids from extremely low income families bash Biden and say how awesome Trump is. Like DO YOU REALIZE THAT TRUMP WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR MEDICAID AND THE WELFARE/FOODSTAMPS/WHATEVER THAT A LOT OF YOU BENEFIT FROM?

The district I teach in is one where >90% of kids qualify for free and reduced lunch. And so all kids get free breakfast and lunch at school and food to take home for breakfast and lunch on the weekends. These kids need liberal politicians and they don’t even know.
