Huh? It’s like three weeks late, you jerk! The organizers have the punctuality of a spaniard!
SPAMANO WEEK IS BACK, EVERYONE!
After a couple delays, we finally have an official announcement for this year’s Spamano Week. It’ll run from July 23rd to the 30th, so that you all have time to prepare your contributions. We're starting on a Wednesday so that the start isn't too heavy! You can check the full extent of the rules and details in https://spamanoweekdirectory.straw.page.
Check the prompts right here!
• Tag your post with our blog @spamano-week and our event tag #spamanoweek2025 so we can see and retweet/reblog your submission! We do not look through #spamanoweek in general for the sake of convenience because that includes submissions from events of previous years that aren't affiliated to us.
• You can use one of the prompts or multiple of them if you like. The only condition is that you stick to the prompt list set by us.
• Late submissions are okay, we are flexible! There's no obligation to post for all of the days and our goal is for you to enjoy yourself.
• Don’t post your submission before the dates outlined in this post (working on the prompts before the event starts is okay though)!
• NSFW, gore, etc. is allowed as long as it is tagged properly and the original poster is an adult. Such submissions made by not apt parties (minors) run the risk of being ignored since we do not want to endorse adults interacting inappropriately with underage users. Note that NSFW content will not be reposted to our official pages but there will be a separate list created with links to NSFW fics and art that can be accessed & will be disclaimed accordingly.
• Lastly, this one being the most obvious but no ship hate or any other kind of hate is tolerated! It's up to our discretion to block anyone that tries to harass our hosters or participants.
Remember that the week is here for all of us Spamano shippers to have fun, and that passion is what keeps this ship afloat! No need to worry about skill; there’s beauty in every contribution. We know that your works, be them drawings, fics, or any kind of artistic creations, will summon the sparks that made us all fall in love with the tomato idiots for the first time.
As per the last event, most of the days have two possible prompts to choose from. Don’t forget to suggest prompts for future Spamano events in the comments below, and remember that we have a wonderful Discord Server for all Spamano Shippers out there.
