Traditional rulers used to be the backbone of our African society. As time went on, we understand some traditions have been amended, but the culture seems to be withering away.
Nonetheless, our topic for today is what is the role of traditional rulers vis-à-vis the politics of today. What can they do? Should they avoid politics in general and leave it to the politicians? Can they effect change from their warm seats? Can their involvement bring change to their communities? And should it bring change to their communities?
What type of change do you want?

Some aspects seem to be a myth but they are real.
Third-world countries, underdeveloped, developing nations, and emergent nations are some of the names used to describe unstable economies around the world. Sometimes the names sound weird. For example; underdeveloped just sounds like a premature child.
Here I outline two reasons why they stayed the way they are for so long without change.
It's no news that some of these countries would have been developed nations by now if not for the manipulation by very well-known, unknown forces.
