Sorry kids but the Ole Easter Bunny is on lockdown too so this is the best I could do for your basket this year. Paige, Casey, Kaitlyn and Samuel y’all have to share these wonderful gifts, no fighting over that one roll of toilet paper. I made sure there was some proteins, veggies, fruits, something to make you toot, something sweet and something to keep your hands sanitized. Made a pan of lasagna with meat sauce and a pan of just cheese lasagna. I had some red, orange and yellow peppers that I put in the freezer the other day so I pulled a strip of all three out and cut them up to put in the meat sauce and also had some green onions leftover from potato soup so I topped the lasagna with those. Also had garlic bread and salad. Pepper and I decided we needed some fresh air. She got to practice catching the ball, which she needs more practice but we’ll get there, and I got to try my hand at using my new phone’s video recording, I know I need to practice too. Today this happened! I had to work on his actual birthday plus he was busy so he and Kaitlyn came over for cake. Yes we thought it was funny to switch the candles around. Casey Alan Foraker enter into this world half grown and very independent. We've watched you grow from this big bright eyed baby boy to a fine young man. You hid in cabinet because you thought you were gonna get into trouble for spilling oats all over the place, to running grandpa's tractor into grandpa's trailer, breaking bones, busting your lip and mouth and giving us heart attacks when you'd take a baseball in the back or neck but all that has made you into the karaoke singing, smart, funny, big hearted young man that you are today.
