i miss maggie, i miss her bossin’ me around. I miss my big brother Shawn. He was so annoying && overprotective. And my dad. I thought... I hoped he’d just live the rest of his life in peace, you know? I thought Maggie && Glenn would have a baby. And he’d get to be a grandpa. And we’d have birthdays and holidays and summer picnics. And he’d get really old. And it’d happen, but it’d be quiet. It’d be okay. He’d be surrounded by the people he loved. That’s how unbelievably STUPID i am.

wary of stories told that suggest unseen forces above , miracles , FAITH . yet —— these stories were instructed by spitting tongues at what felt now , years ago . he scarcely believes it or himself , though , still says ❛ . . . might be . ❜ in spite of it . in spite of sick palm that aim to harm him , of trailer walls decorated in tears , peels , and a single disappointed cross . eyes study the blonde’s expression intently . she’s beside him , where they sat outside the long since abandoned funeral home . it was surely unsafe and yet still , the night was ideal and the breeze was the calmest element experienced in the longest time . it was PEACE .

❛ STILL WALKING . ❜ daryl’s tone changes . it’s softer now , mindful of a vulnerable’s need . he’s peering now to the entourage of gravestones scattered across the yard . it was a surreal , an uneasy feel . a deep breath . he reiterates , clarifies . ❛ still breathin’ . hershel’s been workin’ something with j.c. . ❜

He doesn’t have to suffer anymore. ❜ all the running, the hunger, the exhaustion --- she’d hadn’t given herself much time to grieve, not that she was sure she would be able any longer. her mind is a storm of emotions, now that they have a moment, yet her outward appearance remains still & steady, refusing to give way to those thoughts that beg her eyes to water and sobs escape her chest. ❛ we’re gonna see them again, even if you don’t think so. We found each other after the farm, why can’t we do it again? ❜ that voice of hope, refusal to be set aside. she was trying to convince herself with her own words, trying to make him believe there could still be good in this world. ❛ ‘ya just wait and see, it’ll happen, one way or another. ❜

INSTANTLY HE STARTS TO SHAKE his head in defeat. “There’s no way I’m doing that.” Maggie’s hunger has been insatiable lately with the little one growing inside her and he’d never take any food from her. Hell he might get his hand bitten off in the process. “I’m glad I made it back too. I can’t tell though whether its getting better out there or worse.” Everything is dead and abandoned. There’s seems to be less dead at times, but more people trying to take what they have.

“I ain’t gonna be the one to stop you if that’s what you wanna do, but its dangerous. I wouldn’t want to make a mistake cause I was worried about you all the time.” Jake takes in a deep breath as he glances over at her with nothing but concern for her safety. “If you go out there I need your word that you’ll listen to me.”

hey guys! we could use the extra money right now, so i’m doing a quick commission post! I’m doing promos / headers for $5 dollars and examples are located under the cut. We’re kind of in-between paycheck, and had to pay $300 towards paying off our son’s service dog which really set us in a hole! We get paid next week, but we’re just needing something to help us get through until then.

THE PLOT:

It’s the end of the end of the world, or at least, it’s the beginning of the end. While things may be looking up, they still don’t have a permanent cure for the virus that turns them all into mindless, reanimated corpses (which many groups have their own names for,) and tensions are on edge from former foes and dangerous instincts that were gained from spending too much time in ‘survival mode.’

They must work together to repair and rebuild life but can they forget the horrors they’ve lived through long enough to do that?
