So two of my friends have mentioned reality shifting this week and it’s freaking me out cause I don’t know what to say or how to act until I know for sure they don’t think it’s crazy

Friend Number One: Mentioned it in passing while talking about what their grandfather believed in. I let it slip by without acknowledging it but inside I was

Friend Number Two (who is also roommate): Said they had TRIED reality shifting and learned about it through tiktok which had me GAGGED LIKE-

But then they said it’s a “form of maladaptive daydreaming but not exactly unhealthy”

And I’m like

So I’m spooked on whether or not I should tell either or both of them??? I’ll have to educate roommate about it more if I do…

Shifting has made me realize how much I really want to live. I actually want to do so much. I want to know worlds and instruments and languages and people and careers. I want to experience everything over and over and over again

I’m currently in such an inbetween of shifting ideology? Like:

I’m trying a lot. Not so much putting pressure on it- very much not even thinking before attempting- just going “why not? One more try.” And going for it.

Which is good but also bad? I don’t know.

Like I want to keep trying, of course, but that “why not one more” mentality is preventing me from taking a genuine break? But I want to try but I should probably take a break and not try every night but if I’m motivated I should?

It’s very back and forth in this brain of mine.

Any tips? Has anyone been here before?
