Accomplished in their creativity, Asha Raval and Juliana Stoy co-founded a highly sought after art duo based in Northern California – Animal Spirit Design.  They collaborate everyday on their artwork, where they have created pieces for companies like CB2. Asha received her BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design. Juliana got her BA in Typographic Design at London College of Communications.

Details Magazine @ Midnight : Barrel Art Collection

On November 6th, we joined Herradura’s creative journey in San Francisco with Details Magazine. They gathered together some of the Bay Area’s creative artists to celebrate a night of unique sculptures, good music, delicious drinks, and great food at Terra Gallery. 

  Local artists created sculptures that took inspiration from Herradura Tequila. The artwork offered unique features with interesting stories behind them. In addition to unique artwork, there was also a live performance by indie pop band, Youngblood Hawke. It was an eventful night filled with inspiring art, great music, and tasty bites. AISF's StyleWOW 2013

The Art Institute of California (AI) recently held their annual StyleWOW student fashion show at the San Francisco Design Center. This year, the university welcomed London Fashion Week Founder and their newest instructor, Michael Rosen, to produce the style spectacular. In front of a full crowd of fashion journalists, industry professionals and fellow students, fourteen graduates displayed their collections on the runway. The show opened with AI alumnus menswear designer Justin Jamison, who is now the designer in residence at the recently launched San Francisco Fashion incubator program sponsored by Macy’s.

He was followed by Mikaela Roscana whose collection was ‘inspired by that devil may care attitude’ and who showed standout pieces with the trendy cutout styles that is now popular on international runways. Other student designers included Rie Yamamoto, Christopher Maracha, Katy Buchmuller, Sade Wallace, Anacelia Castro, Poem Brasaga, Francisco Rodriguez, Emmanuelle Hertel, Joshua Ugarte, Lauren Barisic, Josh Charles, Fiona Leung and the last of the night Hieu Nguyen. The Best of Show award was given to Nguyen whose breathtaking gowns captured the support of the audience and the judges Apeksha Ambaram, Bacca da Silva and Owen Geronimo.

Complacency Kills Hosted Sandro's San Francisco Opening Reception

Sandro Paris was born in 1984 and opened its first boutique on Rue Vieille du Temple in the heart of the Marais. It has grown to be a label known for feminine, versatile dressing. Today, Sandro has a huge global following with 202 boutiques worldwide. The Sandro Men’s shops first launched in the Marais and Saint Germain des Pres areas. The shops have been thought of like a jewel box combined with simple and trendy features. The stores have herringbone floors, painted mirrors and more than 190 styles, along with a selection of art books and music, providing the comfort of a British club, while offering it pieces of the season. Sandro opened the doors to its first two freestanding stores in New York City! The men's and women's designer clothig stores are located at 415 Bleecker Street, NYC.
