Well there is no much surprise there with all the fights shinhwa had gone through over all these years. It just got upgraded from fist fights to ans fight lol. Everyone in the fandom know dw has always been like that he exits group chats after shinhwa schedule wraps up. Even in shinbang back in 2013 we can see he changed his number but m didn't know it. And also it is well known fact that eric- dw are actually the true oil and water. So them being the mains of fight didn't surprise, tbh I wouldn't be flustered if it were any of the other 14otp too. Coz they are shinhwa they fight and make up that's how they are.
But this time it's more that we as fans have to understand that they are all dudes in their 30-40s , so it's only natural they might not be meeting up or playing with each other as in their 20s.coz obviously they would be dating or working on something on their own. They also have different interests and hobbies too. So don't expect much from them outside shinhwa activities .tbh I think promoting as shinhwa is the only time they get to meet up with each other and catch upon each other's lives.
So yeah coming to ricwan feud they have always been distant duo out of all otp. And dw blocking him out of communication is not a good thing to begin with and also its not a new thing from him. And Eric has been sorting things all these years and being leader makes him the punching bag to many. So for 6 yrs he has been taking alot in but he had had enough and reached the breaking point and relieved his frustation. So yeah I think him taking out is a good thing and some ppl who still throw hate at him for marriage should be called out
So now they met up and talked it out, we don't know wt went on but they updated us that they sorted everything and dw was added back into group chat . So yeah a good ending
My own take is how much of disparity there is between members I think their loyalty for shinhwa is there

Thanks anon for sharing your thoughts! I’ve been really disconnected with Shinhwa news since the whole Minwoo scandal that happened somewhat recently-ish (it feels recent but I’m thinking it’s been at least a year or two now lol). I think something that I’ve come to learn over the years is how well-trained Kpop groups are at keeping up a certain image for fans.. but I think what attracted me most to Shinhwa back then was how genuine their friendship seemed (That’s not to say that friends don’t have quarrels! I have tough conversations with my closet friends all the time over silly misunderstandings). Either way I’m glad that this was settled and hopefully put to rest for the moment... :)
Wasn't the infamous story of the "burp fight", a fight between Dongwan and Eric? ...this isn't new lol
I'm just learning about the recent issues between these two. It's funny because my friend and I noticed that Dongwan was "left out" a lot back when they were active and we were worried back then but didn't think much of it.... I guess this is an issue that goes a lot deeper.
Any Shinhwa fans out there wanna talk about it?
