sometimes you get so insane about a character that you forget they are not in fact everyone else’s favorite character

Raise your hand if you've ever spent a session forgetting something vitally important about your character.

I forgot my character had wings and spent the session getting boosted on top of someone's shoulders in order to reach things.

When you're so hyper-focused on your character and their backstory that you end up with full blown characterization and anecdotes for their family members.

I have these guys so well written/thought out that I could play them instead.

It's like a BOGO deal on lil guys to think about constantly.

Loreik's repetition of "I'm just the hired help" during the entirety of her session zero has the real world equivalent of "I just work here."

She was then promptly hired by a Mafia corporation.

I wonder if my dm thinks I keep suggesting bad things that could happen to my pc because I want to "cheat" my way into getting buffs via character development. Because that's not the case. I just like seeing horrible things happen to my little scrimblo.

having brain rot about your own TTRPG character is so embarrassing. yes i love her and i think about her all day and i’ll take any excuse to talk about her. no, there’s no book or anything for you to read. she’s my emotional support rogue. she’s my fidget toy. i wish you could meet her. i made her up inside my head.
