This is fucking heartbreaking to me because Zelda (the girl who left these tags) is like one of the mildest, sweetest, kindest, most compassionate women I’ve ever known. I legitimately could not imagine her hurting a fly, she is constantly putting other people’s needs in front of her own, she always tries to listen and hear people out even when they’re being blatantly unkind and unfair. She is genuinely not only one of the best friends I’ve ever had, but the easiest to be friends with. We’ve never even argued because any time that I’ve upset her she has given me not only the benefit of the doubt but more good faith and compassion in her approach than I frankly even deserved.
It is transmisogyny, through and through. We’re just a group of people who are considered socially disposable. A toy to be thrown away when you’re bored, or when you ask to be treated with kindness. It’s endemic. If you absolutely need to cut off your transfem friends at least fucking give her the decency of telling her why so that we can laugh at you and know whatever bullshit excuse you came up with is just a shield for your bigotry.

I used to moderate a Doctor Who server of all things that was run by lowkey racist cryptoterfs who still to this day consider themselves allies to transfems/racialised people, because the (white, TME) admin was being especially harsh on the Puerto Rican moderator and blaming her for "being too aggressive" and "the server falling apart" (when actually, she was calling out racism & transmisogyny from the largely TME, white, and to be honest zionist userbase) and when they kicked them off the team, literally every single other moderator (who were all either Jewish, Black, transfeminine or both) stood up and said that we would resign from the team if she faced punishment for calling out racism & transmisogyny (which is what we were all explicitly approached to address, because the extant mod team was exclusively white transmascs!!!!) and their response was to literally shut down the entire server and cut every single one of the mods off despite being friends with some of them for years.
It culminated in them infilitrating our personal Discord server and taking/sharing screenshots from the venting channel about the way they were being treated.
