hello, my name is emmy. i’m 22 &&. go by they / them pronouns. i originally made this multi for genshin, but i love horror women so much &&. have been on a huge kick that i wanted to make this an all - rounder variety blog. i’ve been rping since i was 9, &&. doing so on tumblr since i was 12. my dis.cord is always available for mutuals, just ask if you’re interested.

i may be slow to reply, both ic &&. ooc - please don’t take it personally. i have school on top of health issues && other things that distract me sometimes. if it’s been a while since your last response, feel free to poke me about it &&. i’ll get to you as soon as i can.

His cold, blue eyes trying to stare into her wandering, shy lavender gaze. They should honestly take this seriously since the Favonius Recruit Ball was tomorrow evening, but what the heck, right? There's nothing wrong in jokin' around! "Svea, don't let your hands go away from your partner! This ain't a one-man's show! " His hands moved away from her hips, instead now gently directing hers back to his shoulders. "You need to be more confident at this. Can you AT LEAST give me a teensy-weensy smile for me? Please?" He pleaded with a grin of his own. With a bit of luck, passion and faith; hopefully Svea will learn how to enjoy the upcoming event before the clock strikes midnight. -Basil & Svea, during their knight-in-training days (:

          despite basil’s best efforts, svea’s gaze is focused anywhere but his, as though she were physically unable to hold it for too long -- no, if she did, it would make the embarrassed crimson painting her features so, so much worse. how is he able to make jokes so easily at a time like this ? she attempts to follow his instructions to the letter, yet she feels like nothing more than a fish out of water with every wobbly side - step she takes while trying to follow his lead. the worst part about growing up in an important family was the expectation to attend such frivolous things as parties &&. balls, yet she had thankfully avoided any kind of dancing most of her life by way of her brothers taking all of the attention off of her -- though it seemed she wouldn’t be as lucky this time when it came to the recruit ball. they weren’t here to protect her this time. a small, anxiety - ridden huff escapes her as she momentarily looks down between their feet. how many times has she stepped on his by now ? surely too many to count.

          ❛       ... i don’t understand why you want me to do this so badly,       ❜ svea complains, her newfound grip on basil’s shoulders tightening ever so slightly as she attempts to calm her nerves. you need to be more confident, he says -- easier said than done. hmph. ❛       i can prove that i’m good enough for the job just fine without going to some ridiculous ball. it’s a waste of time.      ❜           but when she takes the risk to meet his gaze again &&. sees the grin adorning his face, it feels almost impossible to resist a smile of her own -- however involuntary it may be -- &&. she attempts to hide it by suddenly pulling her hands away so she can pull the collar of her shirt up above her lips. damn, why was it suddenly so hard to keep herself together ?

@musesnetwork​ ♡ would it be a stretch to say that Svea will go hate the Gods if she ever finds about the truth of Khaen'riah? would she go over the deep end by willingly joining the Abyss Order?

-- i don’t think it’s a stretch at all - svea, mentally, wouldn’t be able to handle the truth about khaenri’ah. she believes that her mother isn’t really dead &&. her adoptive family is just hiding things from her, even if they’ve already told her everything they know. she has a very unhealthy obsession with learning the truth, partially stemming from the fact that when she sleeps, she doesn’t dream. her entire life she’s felt like something is wrong with her, &&. that finding her roots would, potentially, help her fix it. if she did find the truth, she would absolutely join the abyss order - even so far as to, eventually, become her own version of an abyss herald. her heartbreak from realizing that yes, her birth family is really dead, &&. the place she “belongs” is in ruins would turn into an uncontrollable anger against the world itself &&. the gods, &&. she would feel a warped sense of “duty” to aid the abyss order.  can she be saved? potentially. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

          ❛       to walk into my domain so boldly -- so disrespectfully, might i add -- would warrant you a fool.       ❜

          chin is rested in the palm of barbariccia’s hand as she sits upon her windborne throne, one leg rested over the other as a look of pure boredom paints her features -- it’s been quite a while since someone had the guts to waltz in like they owned the place, carrying the aether of one of her guards along with them to boot. eyes squint momentarily, as if trying to take in the essence of this being ( the faint traces of a mortal, most surely, yet entirely different than anything she had ever seen. ) clawed fingers tap against her cheek as she debates killing them on the spot or allowing them a chance, with her morbid curiosity guiding her towards the latter.

          ❛       yet here you are, having survived against my loyal minions. surely you desire something, then, as it’s not wise to waste my time.       ❜

 Basil gazed out of the window alongside her. A light grimace formed on his face; he was frustrated for her. If that Honorary Knight is free to wander the world for. whoever they were searching for, surely Svea should be too, right?

 Lowering his head, his expression changed. His irritation now masked by sorrow. It was so long ago when he became privy of her search yet it felt like it was just yesterday when he saw her smile through her pain and explain why she wants to go to her true home. 

“If you still don’t want them to know, then I’ll always go with you.“ He knows what it’s like. (to be abandoned) But her situation was different. “You don’t have to bear all that burden yourself, you know.“ Basil’s expression eases up. 

Gives a playful, light soft punch at her shoulder to ease the tension. “Besides, aren’t we the bestest of the best in our batch??? “    

          ❛       i would say no, but ... i think you’d follow me anyway, right ?       ❜           though small, there’s a trace of a smile that tugs at the corners of svea’s lips despite her best efforts -- basil’s optimism could be so contagious, leaving an odd, warm feeling in her chest every time. how far her carefully crafted walls have fallen, huh ? still, she knows he’s right -- if there’s help to be had, she should be happy to take it, even if she worries for the potential danger she may put him in. svea sits in silence momentarily before finally allowing her smile to widen.

       ❛       if you want to come ...       ❜ she hums, ❛       then i would be glad for your aid. you’re right -- and there’s no one else i’d trust more with this than you. i just can’t help but feel silly for burdening you with my plight.       ❜

          eyes are vacant as svea stares out the nearby window, cheek resting in the palm of her hand as she listens to basil speak -- to anyone else, she would seem disinterested, annoyed -- yet the way her eyebrows furrow ever so slightly gives away her conflicting thoughts. it was true that her search had been brought to a standstill as of late, with so much work to be done &&. a cover to keep from being blown, &&. it was so unbearably frustrating. she wanted nothing more than to leave anyway despite it all, to face the risk in pursuit of knowledge, yet so actively throwing away her life for one she didn’t even know was hardly an option. shoulders rise && fall in a small sigh as lavender eyes close momentarily before glancing over to the other.

          a laugh resounds from them as they turn their attention back to the papers that are now very much out of order upon their work space -- for a teacher, halmarut was never known for being very organized. they let out a small hum as they adjust the sleeves of their robe so they can attempt to make some sense out of the mess with one hand, giving the other a small wave with the other.
