If you're a new writer and you're asking yourself "is this too personal, is this too much, will people think this is weird" that feeling is the exact location of your actual voice. The stuff that makes you want to close the laptop is the stuff nobody else could write. The safe version is always worse. Always. I have never once read something and thought "this would have been better if it was a little less honest." go further. It's always go further.

Sentinels of the Multiverse custom hero: Black Mage

I was inspired to make this because I firmly believed I could.

After some playtesting and balancing passes, I believe it's worth "releasing", such as it is.

Sentinels of the Multiverse is a great cooperative card game and more people should play it. It's playable for free on Tabletop Simulator, but I strongly recommend picking up the digital game on Steam. Support the creators, because they're cool and creative people.

Anyway, on to my own custom content.

Hero Character - Black Mage - 22 HP

Black Mage is a damage-centric Hero befitting of the classic Final Fantasy class.

By amassing and consuming tokens, Black Mage maintains the delicate balance of Astral and Umbral aether. Mastery of the ebb and flow of these tokens will allow a Black Mage to deal incredible bursts of damage and keep their hand filled with cards. However, this immense damage comes at a cost of extremely low survivability.

ASTRAL CARDS - Amass Tokens, Deal Damage

UMBRAL CARDS - Remove Tokens, Refresh Yourself

UTILITY CARDS - Keep The Engine Going

LIMIT BREAK - Collaborative Finisher
