“Here is the tragedy: when you are the victim of depression, not only do you feel utterly helpless and abandoned by the world, you also know that very few people can understand, or even begin to believe, that life can be this painful. There is nothing I can think of that is quite as isolating as this.”
— Giles Andreae (via wnq-art)
“We’re all damaged in our own way. Nobody’s perfect. I think we are all somewhat screwy, every single one of us.”
— Johnny Depp (via wnq-movies)
Probably I will forever carry the burden of a heavy heart for causing so much chaos and pain.
The thing about love is that it can break you at any moment. Sure, maybe you’re one of the few lucky ones and it will last forever, but for most of us, forever is a dream that we chase, like a hamster on a wheel. It seems to be right in front of us, but yet we can’t quite seem to grasp it.

I kept it all bottled up. Then, what should have been tiny drops of rain, poured out like a river. They were inside too long. I kept them hidden, so no one would know. And I nearly drowned myself.
Buried so many emotions and desires that I no longer know what I truly want. The feeling of despair has occupied my heart and now I'm wandering around in search of light in the abysmal depth of darkness. In the quest of achieving my goal, I pushed myself into the ocean of uncertainties and guilt.
Some nights I spend staring at the photographs reviving lost stories of the old gone times to just find myself carrying the burden of memories at the end.
It gives both pleasure and pain to indulge in the past cause they are the ones who truly touched your soul and cannot be forgotten no matter how much you try, their memories stays for eternity.
Some periods of our growth are so confusing that we don't even recognize that growth is happening. We may feel hostile or angry or weepy and hysterical, or we may feel depressed. It would never occur to us, unless we stumbled on a book or a person who explained to us, that we were in fact in the process of change, of actually becoming larger, spiritually, than we were before. Whenever we grow, we tend to feel it, as a young seed must feel the weight and incrtia of the carth as it seeks to break out of its shell on its way to becoming a plant. Often the feeling is anything but pleasant. But what is most unpleasant is the not knowing what is happening. Those long periods when something inside ourselves seems to be waiting, holding its breath, unsure about what the next step should be, eventually become the periods we wait for, for it is in those periods that we realize that we are being prepared for the next phase of our life and that, in all probability, a new level of the personality is about to be revealed.

in order to experience growth, you need to be planted in the right environment. throw a seed on the pavement and it will sit there for years, getting stepped on and thrown aside. plant a seed in spoiled soil and it may never get the chance to grow. neglect to water the seed and it will grow slow and shrivel easy. in order to grow, we need to be planted in an environment that honors our needs and cultivates our potential. you’re not broken, you’re not hopeless, you’re not failing – you’re just not in the right environment.
The syntactical nature of reality, the real secret of magic, is that the world is made of words. And if you know the words that the world is made of, you can make of it whatever you wish.

It is so suffocating here....
“We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.”
