FA222 - assignment6
In this assignment, we were asked to work on it in pairs. We choose two topics initially, and then each of us chooses a topic and makes a design that clarifies the meaning, so I chose the pattern and this is the design that I made.
project 1- logo
This logo is one of the most famous logo is the logo of the famous McDonald's restaurant. The logo consists of only one letter, which is the letter M, which symbolizes the first letter of the name McDonald's. The letter is colored in yellow, which evokes happiness and friendliness, which are the feelings that take over a person when the desire to eat is fulfilled.
project 1 - logo
This logo is for the famous Swedish furniture store IKEA. The logo consists of the name of the store in a clear font in the yellow and blue colors, which first indicate the colors of the Swedish flag. Secondly, the blue indicates confidence and openness, while the yellow indicates happiness, optimism and imagination. The logo is completely symmetrical and balanced.
project1 - ad
This ad is an advertisement for Nescafe. A very innovative advertisement, we all know that coffee is one of the stimuli, so they replaced the clock and numbers in the hour with coffee, or we can also say that they replaced the cup of coffee for the hour, in my opinion, it is the best metaphor that they can make. They supported the idea with the phrase “Do not make sleep the hero of every day’s story,” which encourages drinking coffee to avoid sleeping at the wrong times.
They have used the colors known by the company, so there is no other point in my opinion of using these colors. In my opinion, if the phrase was written in a larger font, that would be better. Other than that, the elements of the advertisement are simple and beautiful, and the advertisement is balanced and has similarity and creativity.
project 1 - ad
This advertisement for a McDonald's restaurant is intended to encourage people to sit at home to maintain safety from Corona virus. The ad is simple but innovative, they used their potatoes to make a home look with the hashtag “stayhome” below.
They used in the advertisement the well-known colors of McDonald's, which are red and yellow. The advertisement has balance and symmetry. Simple, expressive and innovative, I really like it.
project 1 - World Art Dubai
The event was a unique event that combines art, education and entertainment. It is the most recent art exhibition aimed at the general public, as it will host more than 100 local, regional and international artists and galleries displaying an impressive collection of thousands of modern and contemporary artworks.
The event takes place over four days centered around the world of art and constitutes an environment full of opportunities to enhance knowledge, with a series of educational events that include specialized lessons, inspiring workshops, and dialogue sessions with experts covering various artistic topics, from going through the world of collecting to how to value your artistic product, in addition to State-of-the-art art shows and a comprehensive library that will quench the thirsty for the arts. On the other hand, this amazing art event will give you the opportunity to experience street art, appreciate graffiti, and enjoy live music performances and delicious street food in the exhibition grounds "The Yard".
project1 - Sonderbond Gallery
Sonderbund, or as it is called (the separate association of art lovers and artists in West Germany) was founded in 1909 and established in 1916.
In the early years, some notable exhibitions were held there, where he succeeded in introducing French Impressionist, post-impressionist and modern art into the western parts of Germany.
In 1908, a group of young artists organized for the first time a special exhibition (sonderausstellung), the following year they reunited in their sonderbund gallery with French contemporary art which housed the local museum collectors. With the encouragement of museum professionals, it was officially established in August 1909.
project1 - lecture
The focus of the conversation revolves around that all of us can only draw, we must believe in that. Many people, when you ask them, can you draw? Their answer will be no, not because they were forced and failed, but because they believe in it without experience. When the speaker asked the audience, "Do you know the drawing?" Only 1 or 2% of them answered yes, but he proved the opposite of that with simple exercises that he drew with them and proved to them that everyone can only draw. We must believe in that so that we can do it.
project 1 - lecture
"Drawing is not related to art, but is bigger than it. It is a way of thinking in the form of an image". Ralph Ammer began a recent statement with this quote in a lecture entitled How drawing helps you to think.
Ralph Ammer touched on 5 Ways to Hadith
How our drawing supports our visual thinking
The first method is intuition, the second method is beauty, the third method is reflection, the fourth method is visualization, and the last method is communication.
What attracted me most about these methods is a recent talk about the second method, which is beauty. What he tried to convey to us is that one of the most important ways to support our drawings is to contemplate the beauty of the things around us and their details. Except that we draw the things in the space surrounding the element that we will draw, in this way the element in the drawing will appear to us in the form of the original and not in the way that our mind is accustomed to. I liked this point very much, but this does not mean that it is the only useful point in my hadith, but rather that it is a complete and fruitful conversation.
project 1 - interview
Interview with the artist Hussein Madi, nicknamed Picasso of the Middle East. "I won my life when I did art and I did not sacrifice it", the artist seemed to be talking about this sentence. The artist mentioned that patience and determination are the two motives that lead him to success and that motivate him to continue, not to stop, to reach the summit and to achieve his goals even in the most difficult circumstances that he faced. In Hussein Madi's life law, defeat is forbidden. He also said that if there is no color, there is no soul.
Hussein Madi's goal from the start was to be a distinguished artist, and if not, then anything else in life would be meaningless. He also said that every failed experiment is a step to success.
He also mentioned that if time went back, it would choose the same path with all its difficulties and challenges, because life by its very nature does not contain only coloring on the painting, but rather there is coloring of life itself.
project 1 - interview
Austin Lee is an American artist. Austin combines technology with art and describes himself as a computer nerd as well as an artist.
Through his interview with artnet news, it was clear how passionate he is for art, as he mentioned that one time he decided to miss my departure for a work meeting related to his job because if he had gone he would not have been able to finish drawing his paintings for his next presentation and among the things that Austin also mentioned is that he would not like to work within an artistic movement A precedent, rather he prefers to work for a future artistic movement as Austin mentioned that he loves to go to the studio, as it is the place where he feels comfortable and likes to show off what he has done, so he also loves to see people's reactions to his work and benefit from it. He also likes to go to the studios of other artists and talk to them about What they are planning for. In a recent ending he said he liked making new photos that he had never seen before. It is similar to hearing a new song for the first time, as he is always looking for this feeling, which he described as exciting and unknown.
FA222 - Assignment 5
In this assignment, we were asked to redesign a logo, so I chose this red design for a jewelry store and redesigned it in a simpler, font, and color scheme, and I added a diamond to it to suggest that it is a jewelry store, unlike the old design that does not suggest that it is a jewelry store at all.
FA222 - assignment4
In this assignment, we were asked to select an image from our photography and draw in it elements that are compatible with it.
FA222 - assignment 3
In this assignment, we were asked to use the barcode in a form, so I chose to use it as a substitute for the mustache in the face of the man.
FA222 - assignment 2
For this assignment, I used Adobe Illustrator to replace the letter o in the word lion with a head of lion. And some effects were made in the letters resembling the hair of the lion.
