Topic: The Use of Robots During The Corona Pandemic

The tremendous development of technology has made many things easier and, as the saying goes, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” In times of crisis, such as the coronavirus crisis, the importance of using robots as a solution to keep people safe and healthy has emerged in many areas.

Among the areas in which robots are used in Corona: First, in the field of health care: It is used for sterilization and disinfection in hospital to replace the human factor so as to protect the medical staff from disease infection, such as disinfection of hospital rooms of all microorganisms and other tasks inside the hospital such as operating elevators, etc. In Chinese city "Wuhan”, where robots were used in the they distribute medicines to patients, as well as in Denmark, robots conducted awareness campaigns in the streets about the importance of adhering to personal hygiene, and they also sterilized the streets. Moreover, In Hong Kong, robots are being used to clean rail mass transit cars that carry millions of passengers daily.

The second field is using robots to deliver goods and food to customers. For example, the San Francisco-based company, Starship Technologies, has recorded an increase in orders for delivery via robots in dozens of cities around the world. The autonomous "R2" robot, which is able to travel at a speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour and transport about 190 kilograms of goods, is a good example of the importance of robots, and thus this contributed to the safe delivery of food products to customers without human contact or contact between the customer. and product holder.

In conclusion, robots enter all fields, and through their formation, they are fast, do not take a salary and do not get sick, so their presence has become competitive with humans and therefore there is concern about the removal of many of their jobs to be replaced by these robots. The presence of these robots may solve crises, and this became clear through the examples that were mentioned previously, but will these robots in the future cause an increase in unemployment in many countries?

On September 12 , students back to studying at university with hope and challenges .The weather was very hot and you must follow the instructions to avoid infection with the Corona virus. The first class was Journalism Technology, but we found the lab closed, so we waited to open it , during that Dr. Sonia took a photo with students.Finally a cleaner came with the key and we entered to the lab.
