Eeeeeek, my first day back at work in exactly two months! I was feeling massive anxiety about going working again, mainly because my relationship to my teaching career is so complicated.

I’m not teaching right now, but I’m working at an educational toy store in town - and I absolutely love it. It could possibly be one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. No exaggerating. On my second day my manager said to me, “I have a very important task for you. Can you build this Poe Dameron X-Wing Fighter Lego model?”

So yeah, anxiety can go suck it.

I found this crop top in the straight size sale section.  I love to go through the larges at F21 because many of their cops work as bralettes for me, and some of their oversized/more roomy crop tops work as regular crops for me!  I cannot find it on the website now, but I definitely would encourage people to try things on!  It might not fight the way the designer intended, but it might fit a way that you like it!

The garden centre at Lal Bagh is one of my favourite places in Bangalore. While the gardens themselves are fairly bustling, the nurseries are an oasis of sorts. I can spend hours there amongst the flowers and the ferns, picking out new additions for my growing indoor garden. A couple of weeks ago, I went with my friend Antara to this garden of The Nurserymen (real name, no lie) and got some plants for her new flat. Despite the humidity inside the nurseries which made my hair frizz and steamed all the wrinkles back into my dress, we had to take some photos in the hothouse paradise setting. If you’re in Bangalore, I recommend a visit to this place at least once. Even if you don’t subscribe to the nature hoe aesthetic, it’s difficult to not be charmed by the sense of peace and quietude that permeates it throughout.

Had a wedding to attend this evening and this is what I wore. I’ve had this dress for ages but never really felt like I had the right opportunity to wear it, but it felt perfect for this event. I haven’t gotten dressed up for a good while now; it felt really nice.
