Hey you! Yes, you! Are you looking for a heart warming manga about a man adopting a cat that loves him very much???? You’ve come to the right place, in that case!

I present to you…. A Man And His Cat…

I actually just came across this manga only a few months ago, but once I read it I thought it was so cute. If you’d like to read this, you can either order it off Amazon or you could read it online. This is being made into a live action film in Tokyo, although i’m not sure how well this will be considering past…. anime-films in Japan…. *cough* the attack on titan movies *cough*… *shivers*

Anyway..!! I recommend you read this if you want your heart to melt and see an old man with his cat, just living life and having fun. To be honest, whenever i’m upset I just go back and look at some pictures of this manga. It always makes me smile, no matter how low I feel! I even showed my mom and she loved it as well.

Magic-Kyun! Renaissance takes place in high school where art becomes magic, and our main character (Kohana Aigasaki) joins the school with a special talent. Once she joins the school, she becomes part of the yearly Hoshinomari Summer Festa cultural festival which is about students showing off their magic art projects, and as Kohana goes she makes friends with quite a few of the students in the committee whom she helps find their magic art.

This is a reverse harem romance anime, if anyone was curious. Reverse harem means the female-main character is presented with many love interests which she chooses none in the end. With this in mind, it is definitely still worth watching!

I really like the plot for this one, I think it’s pretty cool. I mean.. a MAGIC ART SCHOOL??? Count me in! The attractive guys are just a bonus haha!! If you’re interested in watching Magic-Kuhn! Renaissance you can find it on crunchyroll and anime planet.

The Ancient Magus Bride is yet another gorgeous anime. I’m sad to say that I haven’t been able to actually finish this one, although I got more than half way through, I am unable to access it anymore. Once I found out I couldn’t watch this anymore I was so upset, since I was getting really into it and I loved it so much!! So, since I can’t watch it anymore, i’ll recommend this to all of you instead <3

Ancient Magus Bride truly is beautiful. It isn’t as vibrant as other anime i’ve recommended, but nonetheless the scenery and art is just as amazing. I’ll show you a few pictures:

Personally, the art in this anime is one of my favorites. If I had to make a list of my favorite art, this would easily take second place. Violet Evergarden being first.

You could watch this on crunchyroll, and on Netflix.. Unfortunately, Ancient Magus Bride is only available in Spain on Netflix. It sucks, I know :( You can always download a VPN and change your region though! That is, if you’re willing to go through the trouble. (I’m pretty sure this is also a manga, if you’d rather read it instead. Maybe i’ll look into reading it, haha!!)

I’ll admit, when I first started this anime it began on a pretty rough start. Our main character (Chise Hatori) was a troubled soul, who has lost herself. She finds herself being sold at an underground auction and when she has almost completely let herself drift away, she is met by a promising fate.

I got so emotional for Chise, because of where she came from. She came from a life of neglect and abuse, it got so bad to the point where she though the only way to get out was to sell herself at an auction. I’m just glad she was taken by a kind soul, who has also lost themselves and they need reconnection. I think this anime is based off of healing and learning to love, which I also think is beautiful. I really recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy and romance, it’s for a perfect mix of both! I hope you guys will love the Ancient Magus Bride as much as I did… It truly is a wonderful show.

The love I feel for Toilet Bound-Hanako-Kun is beyond me. The characters, the art, the plot… Everything about this anime is perfect.

Let’s talk about the art first, one of my favorite things in this anime. It’s so vibrant, it’s like watching a dream unfold in front of you. All the details put into every frame is amazing, they’re subtle but still there. In every episode there’s always something new to look at, whether it’s a new scene or setting. Maybe it’s a new creature, or character.. It’s like the art never gives you a break, it’s always popping out at you. Each episode more vibrant than the last, but you can never get tired of it.

Okay okay, now let’s talk about the characters. They’re so nicely written, all of them. Even the side characters that we don’t see often in the series. I love how there is always emotions pouring from these characters, all these expressions and movements are just stunning.

Now let’s talk about the plot and anime as a whole. I like that the episodes aren’t repetitive, and we’re always learning something new about each character, making us say “just one more episode”…… Then, five episodes later, we’re not done yet haha! I think that’s a problem in a lot of anime, where the whole show is based off of one goal which leads to a lot of repetitive episodes and dragged-on fight scenes… *cough* naruto.. *cough* y’all heard that? All jokes aside and no hate to naruto, it’s hard to keep a consistent pace without getting repetitive! But TBHK really executed that well (in my opinion).

Now that i’ve got you hooked (if you read this far), let me explain what TBHK is actually about and where to watch it. So the anime starts us off in a vibrant school with the cute character Yashiro Nene, a first-year high schooler. A rumor has been spread around school that if you go to one of the bathroom stalls in a certain place in the building, you can summon Hanako-San of the toilet. Supposedly, she will grant you a wish with some consequence. Nene really wanted a boyfriend, and after many failed attempts she resorts to going to Hanako-San of the toilet…. Who appeared was NOT what she expected. I won’t get into any more detail, but to keep it short Nene and Hanako have a lot of fun together, and they have really cute and funny moments as well. And I almost forgot! Where to watch this anime? You can watch it on Hulu, but if you don’t have that you could watch it on YouTube for $1.99 or Amazon Prime for the same price.

I recommend this anime to anyone that likes a little bit of romance and comedy at the same time! It’s worth it. (can you tell how much I love this anime?)

Angel Beats…. Well, let’s just say it kind of ruined me.

Episode one and I was already so connected to these characters, each one was written uniquely in their own way. Each one with a different, heartbreaking backstory (you will come to learn these later on in the series).

Well, if you’re wondering what this anime is about.. I’ll tell you! So basically everyone in the world this anime is based off of, are teens who have died but are unable to pass on to the next life because they haven’t fulfilled their purpose or haven’t done everything they wanted to do while they were alive. Right off the bat I thought this was super sad.. Especially as we learn more about the characters and what they went through when they were alive. But this anime isn’t just about sad backstories. There’s a threat within their world, and they have to fight back if they don’t want to be obliterated! These teens have been through a lot while they were alive, but they still manage to have fun.. Even while fighting Angel trying not to get erased.

I really recommend you watch this! If you’re all out of anime to watch, Angel Beats is probably the best way to go. It’s interesting, sad and funny. You can find this anime on Netflix!!

Hey! Are you into giant robot-looking things fighting angels and scarring young teens? If that’s you, you’ve come to the right place!!

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a 90’s anime that is about fighting angels. There was some sort of explosion that caused humanity to almost get wiped out completely, which was caused by monsters called Angels. Humans began crafting huge robot-looking things to fight against these robots… But as we get further into this anime, we begin to realize that these robots aren’t normal…!

I haven’t been able to finish all of this anime yet, but i’m getting close to it! I just wanted to share it here since I like it a lot so far. It’s very interesting and the music… mm chef kiss!! I’ll put one of my favorite songs down below.

Let me tell you.. is this a masterpiece 🙏

I’ve watched so much anime… And Violet Evergarden is on my top 5 for sure.

Not only is the art absolutely beautiful, but so is the script and the characters. Everything about this anime is just so beautiful… I cant even begin to describe how much I love it. If you’re wondering, “Well, where could I watch it?” It’s on Netflix!!! All of it is on there, thankfully, since it’s only one season. There are a few movies out there, but I think the series is better than the movies and one season is all it needs.

Now, to add a little more context on what Violet Evergarden is about… Basically, there’s a war going on and she (Violet) is being used as a weapon. She was trained for combat and to obey orders given by her superiors, but one of the Lieutenants takes an interest in her. He told her a word that she never understood: Love.

Violet becomes an auto memories doll (somebody who write letters for people who are illiterate after the war, which was critical because people had no other way of contacting loved ones to make sure they were okay), in hope of understanding the word “love”. She embarks on a journey that teaches her not only what love means, but what it means to live outside of war and to follow her own orders. This IS a romance anime, by the way! Which was kind of hinted in my explanation of the anime.

Everything about Violet Evergarden is so amazing, and i’d love to see that more people watch it.

I’m so scared of getting injured in the shower, like slipping and falling. Something like that. Cuz I mean, what’s gonna happen when someone finds me with no clothes on laying in the shower? Like that’s so embarrassing 💀 I’d rather die there and have nobody see me than have a whole bunch of people trying to man-handle me trying to get me out of the shower to help me 😭
