The Joke of the Election is still an Election......
The election is coming up soon. Honestly, I don’t like to involve politics in this blog, but this election scares the living shit out of me. I’m not a fan of Clinton, but I truly fear what will happen if Trump is elected.
PLEASE VOTE!! I don’t care who you vote for...This election may be a joke..but still, if you don’t vote, you have no right to complain about the outcome. If you are eligible, you should vote. Even if you aren’t in town, there are ways to send in votes while away from where you are registered to vote electronically and such.
Now this has nothing to do with what either of them promise. Honestly, the president hasn’t had a lot of power in decades. The congress is the branch with the power. And if the majority of congress is a different party that the president and mostly male....nothing much will get done anyway. My dislike of Clinton has nothing to do with those stupid emails everyone is so obsessed over either. What happened was unfortunate, but it wasn’t really anyone’s fault. On the other hand, Trump has over 100 pending lawsuits, at least 90 of which are possibly valid and some are for sexual crimes. Plus he is racist, sexist, and everything else under the sun.
What scares me is how Trump acts. Is he honest.........yeah, probably more than some politicians...except honesty isn’t always the best policy in politics and blunt honesty is usually bad. Most countries don’t like us that much as it is. If Trump gets elected....our relationships with foreign nations, except maybe Russia, will be terrible. He has no grace! He says what he wants, changes what he says every day, and he refuses to apologize for anything.People who don’t know how to apologize, have no place in politics. You don’t have to mean it, but you have to do it. He’s an ugly businessman. He is not a politician. I may not like politicians...but they are better suited for a job in politics. Trump knows how to make enemies...not friends.
His temperament is terrible too. First of all....I don’t trust him with the ability to fire nuclear warheads which the president has. I don’t trust him to not make another country want to throw nukes at us!!!! Not to mention, Korea has made multiple threats to go to war and I’m not sure Trump won’t take them up on it!!!!!! He isn’t exactly a leader either. If there is a tragedy, do you really think he has what it takes to stand on a stage and comfort the nation or even show respect for those involved in the incident!! Hec, even Romney and his vice president canidate with his sexist and racist ideas would have made a better president. I would take George Bush over Trump too which is saying something. Trump may seem more honest, but I don’t trust him as far as I can throw him. I at least trust Hillary to manage foreign relationships and not start a nuclear war.
I’m not saying vote for Clinton. There are two other candidates. You can vote for them. They won’t get elected anyway. But please do vote. If your eligible to vote and you don’t, then you have no right to complain about the outcome. Even if you vote Trump, at least vote.
