Imma be honest y’all I have a dissociative disorder. I don’t have DID but what I have (FND) could technically be described as a dissociative disorder and it fucks me up sometimes. I want everyone to know that if you don’t support people like me, or people with schizophrenia, DID, BPD etc., you’re not a good mental health ally and you should try to step up a little. I have depression and anxiety and physical disabilities but I also have more “serious” mental health issues like ptsd (and in part FND). Please from the bottom of my heart I’m asking you to reach out to people you know who have serious mental illness especially in this winter season as it can be more difficult when the pressure is on to “be jolly”
